In my opinion the game has some bugs and issues! So far the best survival game ive ever played. Going to get all the DLCs would love to support the devs.
no controller support but its on console tho
This is a great game. But it is designed to make you travel as much as possible so be ready for the grind.
Fun survival crafter, worth the money. There are heaps of content to progress through.
awesome game
coool
This game is fun, It has stuff for when you first start out it has a system to let you farm on a main world and a ingame workshop that lets you get things for when you want to start a new world not needing to start from 0. cool bosses and they are thought full of old saves ae -the t5 item that can change deep ore- and many other cool things. If you like games that are still being cared for and get updates very constantly this one is high up there and even for people like me who do not have the best of pcs and my other friend who is running off a mini portable pc can play it -we may not get the best fps but we here for the times-. That is all for my talk
Icarus is a hard game to recommend. Sold as a halfway point between an extraction game and a sandbox survival game, the devs have slowly eroded the "extraction" gameplay loop to the point where they now expect you to play it as nothing more than another generic survival game. A shift that has completely ruined Icarus's game design. The game is fundamentally a roguelite. Select a mission, beat it for money, purchase items and unlocks with metacurrency, and use those unlocks to give yourself slightly better starting items in later runs. This currency is the only thing you earn for completing missions. It's the entire point of the gameplay loop and the only reward you're given for engaging in it. But the currency reward is absolutely pitiful for the amount of time it takes to finish a mission, and this has resulted in Icarus implementing a new game mode to make mission completion faster: open world. Here's the issue with the open world: the missions are designed with the expectation that you are playing through the game's entire crafting tree until you get to the item tier needed to complete the mission. A mission's challenge relies on passive threats like storms and animal attacks potentially killing you in the process of building your base, with a limited lives system ensuring you're actually in danger if you play too recklessly before you're fully kitted. The open world mode nullifies all of this. In open world mode, you can start missions at any time in the same world you've already been playing in. You don't have to build a new base, you don't have to craft new gear for yourself. In a game designed around prep time being the central challenge, they have added a game mode that gives you infinite prep time. You can enter a mission fully-kitted, ride to the objective area on a horse you own, and beat the mission in about 10 minutes, nullifying every single challenge the game is designed around. Oh, and most items you can purchase with metacurrency are worse than crafted items, because they're only meant to speed up early-game progression, so even the currency itself has been rendered nearly worthless by this change. As a roguelite, Icarus's entire challenge is supposed to be an endurance race. The early game is there to kill you. Letting a player start a run of Isaac or Hades at the very last level, fully kitted with every piece of gear they'd ever unlocked, would absolutely destroy the fun of those games, but that's exactly what Icarus has chosen to do here. And they've shifted their design focus to this new game mode too, so there's no guarantee you're even going to be able to play new missions in the roguelite mode in future. This was their solution to players complaining for years that missions gave way too little currency. Instead of increasing the payouts, they made a whole new gamemode that clashes with every pre-existing design decision in the game. Now the missions still give too little currency, but you can waste hours of your life grinding money in an open world to make up for it yourself.
jogo de sobrevivência muito legal recomendo pra quem gosta e quem quer jogar
