Just buy it. Sorry for short review. Still waiting on my heart to recover.
Firstly, I want to say that this is by far my favorite Visual Novel. I like the fact that the dev team saw all the cheesy romance stuff and decided to turn it on its head in such a way that still emphasized the romance while also being comedic. The game is not perfect, but it is a good one, especially for the price. I was hooked in upon completing the very generous Demo they released for it, as it covers nearly half of the game in just the Demo alone.
Pros:

Story
The story revolves around Inco, a highschool student that just moved to a brand new school full of Dinos, and Olivia, talented artist and cute gator (Baryonyx) girl with social insecurities. The story lasts approximately 15 hours-ish if you want all endings, but a single ending might take you around 10 hours if you read slowly like me. There are 4 endings to the game, and each of them revolve around your choices. I like that the game does not let you 'control' Inco. Even though Inco is a blank slate visually, he is his own person, with his own wants, needs, morals and hobbies. He is not a representation of you, neither are you to him, i like that. The game allows the player to have the space to envision themselves in his stead, but ropes enough of that power from you so that you remember that Inco is the main character, aside from Olivia, not YOU. The choices that you make as Inco are more like subtle pushes from his subconscious to make certain decisions, rather than handing you every decision with too much control, and not taking it completely from you either. The 4 endings are written well
though, only one of them is considered canon (as far as i can tell), ending 4.

Graphics
The game features hand drawn art for all the characters, and for quite a few of the backgrounds, though, some are made with a paint filter overlaying real photographs. The character designs are simple, yet work extremely well, they encapsulate the personalities of their character, and their vibes. There are several hand drawn animations that appear throughout the game that look quite nice, and are visibly made with passion. The overall art design is very good.
Writing
The writing is very solid. Things make sense, and connect when telling the story. There are few things that are not tied to a part of the main story. There are a few writing errors, which is fine, and is somewhat expected, but some mods may help with this.
Gameplay
I would consider this a very passive game when it comes to direct interaction, but that's not a bad thing. There are about 10 total choices in the game that make a lasting difference, and they don't happen commonly within 30 minutes of each other. A lot of the game is reading the consequences of your choices, good or bad, while waiting to make your next choice. Some people may want more interactivity from the game.
Cons:

Not enough
There is not enough of this game, i want more.
Limited Stock
They sold out of their Olivia Plushies really fast, and now I really want one.
More Romance
I wish they would have either animated or drawn more art for the very cute romance scenes. I feel like some parts of the game, i would have loved to see an artistic rendition of what was being said on screen rather than just seeing PNGs slide arouund the screen at some points, though, i could just be greedy.
CONCLUSION

Buy the fricking game, it deserves more love. The devs put a lot of hard work and dedication into this game and it shows. It is a visually and emotionally well driven game.
Don't let the Dev's history fool you: this is a fantastic game and is deserving of your money, even at full price. The only real problem I had was inherent to the genre; Going in blind, while I got some choices 'right', I ultimately got screwed out of the better endings by a sequence with lots of choices-- of which the obvious and best response was missing unless you had gone through the correct choices beforehand. With all that said, be sure to get the "Red Pen" mod, as it fits in seamlessly and adds back cut content that I can't imagine playing without. ...And don't feel bad about using a guide or something to get the best ending-- it is 100% worth it!
A masterwork of a visual novel. Top quality writing, humor, art, and even some animations thrown in. As someone who's played a lot of visual novels, I'd rank it in the top tier. You will feel, you will smile, and you will wani hug that gator. Bonus: I highly recommend installing the mod Red Pen from the steam workshop. It's basically a "director's cut" that fixes grammar, adds incomplete cut content fleshed out into the game, and makes bare minimal changes that make it good even for a first playthrough. Despite getting a version incompatibility warning, I didn't experience a single bug through my long playthrough.
It changed me.
unironically the most beautiful story i've ever experienced i would sacrifice literally anything to experience it blind again
entered wani without prior interest in visual novels, left wani feeling incredibly giggly, hopeful and self reflective hope to see Inco, Liv and gang another day
