About
The year is 2150. You’ve successfully landed a job working for one of the many mining facilities stationed in the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars. Using a company issued Asteroid Hauler, your job is to search for mineral rich asteroids and tow them back to the primary mining facility for further processing.
Pre-fitted or built from scratch the control layout, types and operations are assembled using a fully player modifiable node based system of simple single function components. Don’t like the position of a control? Move it, change it or remove it. This is your ship so it’s your choice!
All components can be connected using red cables which simulate power distribution and green cables which simulate data flow from user input and various sensors. Using the modules and data systems you can wire the ship how you want it. Want to fly with proximity sensors only? Wire it up and off you go… but good luck!!
Use the controls you built and wired or a pre-fitted ship to haul asteroids and complete contracts or just have some fun flying about in space dodging rocks.
Be warned, this trivial sounding job will push you to your creative engineering limits. The asteroid belt is extremely dangerous, radiation and cosmic rays will continuously degrade the components of your ship. Over the course of your employment you will need to become intimately familiar with how all ship systems operate and fit together so that you can rearrange, rewire and reprogram them as they fail around you. You’ll need to get creative to survive and get your payload back to the primary mining facility.

Awesome Game/experience. Runs and looks great on a Vive Pro 2, works great with wand controllers. Lots of attention to detail. Features a fascinating new take on presenting radiation exposure to the gamer, it looks like being inside a cloud chamber. Sooner or later, you will be designing your own upgrades for your ship, buying the parts and seeing it work. I wish I recorded this wild unscripted adventure. I had a ripe fat rare rock (that'll get me close to unlocking wireless modules) heading home and the radiation knocked out my lights, engine and half my gear, I thought about just quitting for the night because death seemed moments away, instead I prioritized the problem: first power plant then life support. By the time those were sorted, my ship and rock was wedged into the processor (during repairs I had coasted straight in from 6500km away, lucky I'm not a smear on the wall). Next problems, fix tethers, un-wedge, fly clear with no inertial dampers, all while servicing a life support that is chewing through consumables since whatever fix I thought I did. Try to land w/o inertial dampers, out of control spins, almost collide with station, now drifting out front I have to learn how to fix inertial dampers with an hour's progress at stake. Seeing the damper's instrument cluster light up after jumpering past burned out components... a genuine thrill. Got to the hanger, saved, now I have to repair all the wiring and buy redundant components and prioritize where to install them.
I followed the in game tutorial, followed up with the academy. Once entering the main game and salvaging my first rock I have now found myself with about 10 mins before the one spare carbon bond plate fails and I die, no money, no way to buy new plates. I just wanted to fetch rocks but I can't.
Died of asphyxiation in the tutorial due to high CO concentration, as I forgot to switch the carbon plate. Excelent 5/7, would die again.
I think it can be a very compelling game for people with this kind of brain. I like technical games, i play the crap out of Satisfactory and Factorio, but this one just didnt work with my brain, and that is okay. not an issue with the game, and for that im still giving it a thumbs up, despite requesting a refund
This game is really amazing for the computer science type person. I've never really felt claustrophobic before, but once I got into the ship, I immediately felt a sense of dread as there was so much going on that I didn't understand. Once I got my bearings, things started to make sense and I felt better. This game so far has really challenged my thinking which I really appreciate from a game and I hope it will help me think more logically about computers as I play it more.
I've barely finished the tutorial and haven't even fiddled with the complexity this game offers, but the experience of throwing a huge asteroid at the station like I'm Marco Inaros alone was worth the cost of the game.
Every time I try to fetch a rock I always have to let go of it because it would pull my ship with it.
Great looking game. Just wasn't my type of game so i asked for a refund.
An absolute dream if you love sci-fi, simulation and engineering. Extremely complex systems to play with, fix and upgrade right from the start. Maybe could stand to give you the option to pilot a simpler ship from the jump and ease into the complexity a bit more, I like me some engineering/computer science-y games but this is pretty intimidating even for me, and I've been a professional programmer for years.
This game is bloody awesome, i can only hope it continues to develop and more content gets added! For anyone starting out that loves complex games here is some advice, do the starting tutorial, then back out and go straight into expert mode, wire up your own ship from scratch and everything will make incredibly more sense, if you get stuck you can always save and jump into the intermediary mode to double check how stuff is connected as standard.
