About
The year is 2150. You’ve successfully landed a job working for one of the many mining facilities stationed in the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars. Using a company issued Asteroid Hauler, your job is to search for mineral rich asteroids and tow them back to the primary mining facility for further processing.
Pre-fitted or built from scratch the control layout, types and operations are assembled using a fully player modifiable node based system of simple single function components. Don’t like the position of a control? Move it, change it or remove it. This is your ship so it’s your choice!
All components can be connected using red cables which simulate power distribution and green cables which simulate data flow from user input and various sensors. Using the modules and data systems you can wire the ship how you want it. Want to fly with proximity sensors only? Wire it up and off you go… but good luck!!
Use the controls you built and wired or a pre-fitted ship to haul asteroids and complete contracts or just have some fun flying about in space dodging rocks.
Be warned, this trivial sounding job will push you to your creative engineering limits. The asteroid belt is extremely dangerous, radiation and cosmic rays will continuously degrade the components of your ship. Over the course of your employment you will need to become intimately familiar with how all ship systems operate and fit together so that you can rearrange, rewire and reprogram them as they fail around you. You’ll need to get creative to survive and get your payload back to the primary mining facility.

Sad that the game is advertised for multiplayer. Multiplayer should be completely removed, 100% does not work. Asteroids only work for the host, so the host HAS to fly. People connected have lights flickering for no reason. Things just go outside of the ship for no reason, I could go on. It feels like multiplayer was just added to get more people to buy the game.
Very complex but rewarding. This game is for people who want to tinker with their vehicle longer than they want to actually drive it. Don't like the way the ship operates? Change it! Got a degree in programming? Throw together enough parts and you can probably get the scanner to operate itself. I will reiterate, this game is NOT a pick up and go kinda game. You'll likely spend more time running wires and jerry rigging parts together for your latest strange idea than actually flying. For me, I'm all for it.
Couldn't get into it because I have a passionate hatred for computer science, however I will say that the tutorial is very good for teaching the foundational elements of both the game and computer science. In another life I believe I would love this game.
The standard flight controls suck, so I rewired the entire cockpit.
10$ for 15 hours of game-play. Easy recommend - BUT only for people who can deal with very complex math/engineering/problem-solving. This is not a game for everyone by any stretch of the imagination. Graphics blow, but so do the vast majority of VR games. I think there are 5 tiers of resources, I only got to Tier 2. It got grindy just searching for the resources you need. Pointing that stupid laser at every single astroid to locate specific resources is why I am done playing... cant deal with it anymore. I tried to figure out a way to automate the process and while its possible it would probably require the 'Server Room' which I never unlocked and no clue how to. The reason is that there are no PCB's... you have to wire every single piece of logic... no cards/motherboards/etc. This is fine, and I liked the challenge, but there isnt enough space to really do automated searching of an asteroid belt. You would have to have adjust X by 5 deg or something... then move the laser 0,0 to 100,100 (hoping that makes sense).. then move another 5 deg or something and repeat.. then once X is back to start, move Y 5 degrees and then do the whole thing over again. The largest issue outside of space was setting up a loop to do the iteration of the counts.... another space demanding solution. It would have been neat to be able to buy new ships or otherwise add 'bays' to the ship you have. Neat game and the only of its kind, VR or not. There is MP but I never got to experience that. I would love to see something like this on a much much larger scale but better graphics and without having wires dangle everwhere (look at my screenshots). Anyway, 10$ is a burger and frieds and gave me a few days of entertainment. Well worth it.
a deep, mechanical game with no objectives besides fetching rocks. it would be amazing, if i could do literally anything else except fetch rocks
Kinda mixed on this game. I love the style and the complexity but I only bought this to play with my friend, but multiplayer just doesn't work. I hope the devs fix this and maybe me and my friend will try it out again.
Rewiews: 1hr: Yes 10hr: Yes - I learned how to finally wire my ship. 24hr: [TBD] 48hr+ [TDB] 1hr Review Comments: Weight and populsion feels right with the ship. Inertia and mass seems properly responding. Its fun. Died 3 times so far. 10hr Review Comments: Learning Cabling and power management. Cabling is straightfoward and understandable with complexity available.
I can't find a single negative review. This game is a simulator for NERDS. I dig it. Hopefully the game isn't finished development? :(
This is honestly one of the coolest VR games out there right now. The systems inside of the game are very complex but also enjoyable, and the wiring is incredibly satisfying once you get something right. I personally loved messing around with all the displays and gizmos, incorporating visuals to the functionalities of the ship. I will say, however, that the rock collecting part of the game is a bit weak. Nothing changes much throughout the games besides the parts you can put inside of your ship, and the rock collecting felt a bit slow-paced to me, but that's just my opinion. All in all, this game is great and has great potential. If you're reading this, just by the game. It costs less than the average price of any game out there today, and has so much you can do.
