this game has some of the most addictive combat I've ever experienced. I think the best way to describe is fast and bouncy.
awesome fast paced game
ok so this was initially a shorter review but i felt the need to remake it. this is a very very good game. i wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was - no offence - the boomer shooter genre has been on a bit of a slump recently and all is all. the story had me very very very invested. over 3 short hours i came to really love the characters and i still find myself revisiting the "cutscenes" just to re-live it. it's just so nice, man. the characters do feel like people. me like. i was gonna give this a 9/10 but like.. no. that's cringe. 10/10 easy.
this is genuine peak, i bought this game at launch and just recently returned to it to 100% it. The cutscenes are unique and enjoyable and the characters are peak. peak game peak story peak challenges peak fun
i can see why people like this game, it does a great job at fullfilling the power fantasy many look for. but after getting 20 levels into the game it became apperent that the skill floor is seriously at rock bottom, I only really enjoy the power fantasty when i actually earn it, not when im being pandered to.
