No revenue estimate for the App Store: Apple publishes no install counts, and its star-rating counts don't calibrate to sales the way Steam's written reviews do. Reviews and prices only.
Hyperhop is a word puzzle that turns a wiki into a maze. You start on one article and try to reach another using only the links inside the text. The catch is your link budget: you get 10 links on Easy, 8 on Medium, 6 on Hard and only 5 on Expert. A new daily puzzle arrives every day, and everyone playing in your language gets the same two articles. Monday's puzzle is the gentlest and the weekend's is the toughest, while a weekly topic shapes the targets. Keep your streak going, and solve the weekly challenge on Expert rules to earn streak shields that protect you on a day you miss. Classic rounds let you pick one of four difficulties and, if you like, one of 49 topics such as football, space, movies, history, music, food and animals. You can make a round even harder by turning off the way back, hints or country pages. When you want something different, the other modes are waiting. Time Attack gives you three minutes to reach as many targets as you can. In Chain, each target becomes your next starting point. Mystery Target hides the name of the article you are looking for and leaves you a trail of clues instead. Blind Start drops you somewhere without telling you where you are. Hardcore gives you five links and takes away the way back, hints and country pages. Hyperhop is even more fun with friends. Open a room with a short code and race two to four players, either side by side on the same Wi-Fi or online through Game Center. You can also challenge a friend with a code, and once you have both played, you can compare your routes side by side. If you get stuck, a hint marks a useful link, and a hot/cold compass tells you whether you are getting closer. After every round you see your route next to the shortest one, and you can take an optional three-question quiz about the articles you passed through. Explore gives you a vertical feed of article cards to read whenever curiosity strikes. Save anything you like to Read later, and watch your Collection grow as every article you open is sorted by subject. You can earn 25 badges, climb the weekly league with Game Center, share a monthly recap card and look back at your daily results on a calendar. Reading settings let you change the text size and line spacing, and you can switch to OpenDyslexic, a typeface designed to help readers with dyslexia. Hyperhop works in 15 languages and keeps your progress and settings in sync through your own iCloud. You do not need an account. Hyperhop is free and shows ads; a small subscription removes the ads between rounds. Articles come from Wikipedia and are shared under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
