It's good, hopefully gets turned into a full game in the future. Visuals are stunning and the gameplay is pretty solid (although a bit basic), but it's fun, free and you can beat it in like 20 minutes
Awesome game for a higher education project, clearly very talented people made this. The art direction is great, very distinct comic style, well drawn animations. Combat was just enough for the scope of this project, if there's a paid game in the future, I'd want some more combat and movement depth, some abilities, better feedback on attacks, more limitations on self like stamina, higher difficulty, different equipable hands, a more diverse enemy set, etc. I got a bit fatigued with all the motion on the screen, even without the flashing. Enjoyed my time, I hope for the best futures for everyone involved in this project. Good work and thank you for releasing it free
This is a really cool twenty minute game, and the fact it was made by a college student impresses me further. Kinda inspires me to make my own video game someday.
Visually striking, but the gameplay is pretty bland, and the "no borders, punch a nazi" thing was already exhausting a decade ago. If that's your thing, go nuts.
I love the concept of this game: The unique combat and animation style offers the game a lot of potential, though it left me a bit disappointed. The movement should flow better. Mechanics such as sliding and double jumping are crucial in fast paced games like these, and the lack of such features left me spamming dashes across the map until I was forced to walk, ruining the momentum created during the fights. The combat, although really well imagined, didn't work great in practice. Being limited to a front swing and an uppercut feels repetitive. Charging attacks doesn't reward you with anything but cool impact frames and since attacking normally ends up dealing more damage in the long term there is really no reason to do so. Ground slamming while charging cancels the attack, also killing the flow. I would suggest adding a ranged attack that charges up every few hits, maintaining the primarily melee combat system while creating more diversity. Now, I'm not sure if content updates are to be expected or not, but the game finished way too quickly. Smoother transitions between levels, a deeper and well told story, more levels and bossfights, maybe even a shop/crafting station where you could obtain different combat styles and switch between the ones you already own are all things that would make the game feel less like an unfinished project. Despite all this, I still believe the game is worth trying due to it's creative animation style and unique gameplay. A work like this is nothing less than amazing as a debut release by two students. I believe that more dedication put into the project would increase it's popularity and perhaps even allowing it's monetization. Thank you CHIRALITY👏👏
I genuinely cant believe this is free, this is the best thing ive played in a while. Cant wait to see more from these devs
You all are going places, I am left wanting MORE, ITS SO GOOD. I look forward to what come from this team in the future. :)
