The game was a lot more difficult and frustrating than I was hoping for. If like me you wanted a cozy hololive fangame to play for like an hour or 2 you won't find it here, it's just way too difficult for that. 4/10
Short and sweet fan game, pixel art very pretty, music is always the same, but it doesnt get old, gameplay is fun some frustrating parts, and supe fun bosses!
Technically accomplished developer makes a frustratingly Un-Fun game: Not recommended 6/10

For Linux & Steam Deck: Works with Proton 10. Achievements are bugged.

Shadow2810 is a talented developer. The pixel-art design is good, the controls are tight and responsive. The level design is technically accomplished and the music is well, it’s Hochimachi Suisei, enough said. But the game is not fun. Why? Just as some of the reviewers described, at level 3 your progress is impeded by, what we call in the industry as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Deaths. These are deaths that are glaringly unfair, and are designed specifically to halt you, making the flow of the game paralyzing. Which is really tragic because as mentioned before, the level design is technically really good. The jumps are so precise that is really fun… if it wasn’t for that big ass enemy out of nowhere knocking you to your death where you need to start over. Add to that, there is literally no incentive to progress the game. There is very little story, there isn't a high score, the pixel art isn't good enough to pull players in with incredible art. And why have the time limit? It just seems that, rather than wanting the players to overcome the challenge and succeed, Shadow2810 is gleefully wanting the players to suffer over, and over, and over, again. No. It’s just not fun. By my 30 attempt to complete level 3, I remember I have Ninja Gaiden RageBound in my backlog that is difficult, but more fun. The worse thing is, the frustration of this game will make players direct all of that misplaced anger to Hochimachi Suisei. If fans want people to like their oshi, they have to bear that in mind when they intentionally make a frustrating game. So no, not a recommendation from me. However, I hope Shadow2810 will continue to make games and find a good balance between difficult and fun because once he finds that balance, I’m sure he’s going to make a really good game.
The first two levels are fine. But once you get to the level with the paddle wheel over the lake, you really notice how bad this game can be. And while the bosses are optional, they can get rage baiting, like that sealion that killed me over a dozen times. But he didn't made me quit since I made it to the end. No, what made me quit was the second phase of the Bonus 4 boss. Phase 1 was okay, just see the tells to her attacks and dodge. But the second phase I didn't know how to hit with getting hurt myself since my range was too short. Edit: I just found out there is a long range attack. Here's an idea for a patch, give us a list of instructions so we know how to play properly.
Stage 3
Is Rage Bait :( Boss fight is fun tho

The level with the chumbuds was really unfair. At the speed they show up, either the collision boxes are too big, or they shouldn't knock you back in midair, just altering 2 out of 3 of these would make that level more enjoyable. The dev did a fine tribute to Suisei though, you can definitely see they had put a lot of heart into it.
