hands down one of the coolest games i've ever played
The most beautiful pixel art has ever looked. If you can handle Soulslike combat, I implore you to give your eyes and ears a spectacle.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game, great experience. All things that make a great game of this genre are present here to a high level of quality.
This game is not worth its price, if you are thinking about buying it, wait for a sale. Hyper light drifter is 5-6 hours long and while a game being short is not always a bad thing, this time the title doesn't offer that much. The atmosphere is really good, locations look great, the combat is alright but it's not anything crazy, the bosses aren't hard but they have cool designs especially the finall boss. Overall the gameplay is fine but traversal can get annoying due to the poor map design, storytelling is meh, personally I wasn't sure what was going on, maybe it's because not a single npc speaks, they all only show images which is a cool idea but I dont think that it worked. In terms of difficulty I think that the game is overall easy, sometimes the enemies end up dealing more damage, but other than that, mechanicaly the game is simple. The "chain dash" ability isn't really good in my opinion, it feels inconsistent and laggy, thankfully it's not that important for progression as its main use is getting secret items, that being said I still think that the two "chain dash achievements" are very silly. Also the new game + mode is disappointing and cheap, it only lowers your hp without changing anything else. In the end I feel like it's an ok game, it looks great but some things may feel underwhelming. Do I recommend it? Yes, but only when it's on a sale. [hr]
美术和音乐都很好,boss战差强人意
This is not a game, this is art.
good
It can be a bit tedious at times, but it is still a great game! It has pretty cool and fun combat, but the best part about this game is without a doubt the beautiful art and athmosphere. It is worth checking out for experienced gamers. I would not recommend playing this as your first game!
Very fun game!! Great combat, music is really nice, and the environmental storytelling is great too. Lots of weapon variety and abilities to unlock, the bosses for the most part play really well and there are lots of secrets to find to keep you busy. However the game is very short and only takes around 5-10 hours for one's first playthrough and there isn't too much content beyond that. Really good game but $20 is a bit of an ask for the playtime you get, I'd wait for a sale.
