great game with great potential that was cancelled before it could even get close to said potential. unless they announce the development is continuing, don't waste your money
这个游戏也太好玩了!保姆级贴心教程,帮助我掌握各种战斗技巧。有一说一,对于我这种又菜又爱玩的人来说,还是比较友好的。强烈推荐!
They abandoned the game and left it in a pretty bad state.

Incredible game. Don't listen to the salty fanboys.
abandonado
Extremely long intrusive EULA that forces you to give up consumer rights and privacy. Abandoned by the publisher with no end game content. Stupid design choices, like dumping you in the town hub for the first time but you can't do anything in it because you have no resources to pay for anything. Attack tracking on flying enemies doesn't work, frequently attack/dashing at them and hitting nothing. The dash feels extremely anemic, but there seemed to be upgrades for it so maybe it gets better. Don't know if the game scales to player count since I played solo, but it felt like there were too many enemies at once. Losing gear on death isn't fun. Having a huge world to trudge around instead of concise stages isn't fun as a roguelike because exploration means nothing when the world randomizes. Having to re-interact with equipment to recycle it after changing equipment is annoying. If there's a way to reload your gun, the game didn't do a good job of telling me because it only seems to reload when the clip is empty, which feels bad when you have one shot left and are stuck reloading while being swarmed. The first game didn't have any reload mechanics, why is it here? The hoverboard handles terribly. The stamina system is unfun and pointless. They tried to get away with not explaining anything like in the first game, but the punishment for failure is much steeper than before so it feels bad and there are with more resources and other things that I have no idea what to do with because no information on anything. The combat can be okay if you luck into some decent weapons/upgrades, but enemies love to run away and behind you so they can shoot you in the back. Some enemies explode on death right out the gate with less than a second of reaction time to dodge. Every so many minutes you get attacked by enemies teleporting in at you, eventually sending a boss at you with way too much health and aoe damage spam. Moving around the world is fun, but everything is so limited or frustrating that it can't carry the game. It feels like the dev wanted to make an open world action adventure game like the Hyper Light Drifter, but then the publisher told them to make it a roguelike because they're popular. So they tried to make Risk of Rain 2 but worse. edit: don't know why it says 5 minutes playtime, I played for 6 hours
I've only barely scratched the surface I think but this game is fun so far.
Heart Machine is easily one of my favorite devs during this boring saturated time of gameplay, whether it's shooting or hack n' slash. I think this Early Access has it's flaws but otherwise I'm totally enthralled with how these guys immerse me into their worlds. I know they're the type of devs to listen to their community and want to make sure they make a great game in which they have! I hope people continuously come back to this game as patches and updates make it more enjoyable. Don't give up on this guys!
