Reviews
**** NOTE: This Review Was This Games First Review On Steam **** Okay, let me correct my original first impressions review of this game that give it too high of a score... After playing now a few times, first of all.. the game starts to make me feel sick if I play it too long. if you are claustrophobic at all, be aware that this game may affect you while playing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRhkSge0ybE&t=96s I love the idea and concept of this game. I love the idea of the seven deadly sins and the different maps and all the different difficulty choices you have to play it. But this game does have some problems... - Sometimes toward the end of collecting the 50 light orbs you need to collect, it gets nearly impossible to find them, and then the lights go out and clicking your torch with the F key doesn't do anything at all to help. Traversing the corridors and these maps in total darkness can be more than frustrating! - The enemies sometimes use what feels like super cheap tactics (like teleporting right in front of you!) to kill you and when you're almost to the 50 light orbs you need and get killed on what feels like a cheap and instant death, it's almost rage inducing! Getting stuck on walls even when you can see clearly seems to happy way too frequently in this game, and when these evil monsters are on your tail, getting stuck or not being able to move freely.. ugh.. well again it's beyond frustrating. UPDATE: When I changed my field of view from 90 to 100 in the Game Settings, it made a world of difference and I didn't seem to get stuck on the walls nearly as much.. Definitely recommend changing the FOV to 100!) This game feels like it should be in early access, especially if the developer plans on adding multiplayer. I needs some work and polish for sure. Also, there should NEVER be a point in the game where you simply cannot see anything at all and just see total darkness. It's impossible to know where to go, where you are, and how to dodge the monsters if you can't see a damn thing! This game definitely has the potential to be a high recommend. It has the potential to be one of my Zaxtors Indie Gold games, but right now it just needs more work. The more I play, the more problems I see and I hate that because I really love the concept of this game. MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS SCORE: 7.5 out of 10 - Tons of potential and a great start to what could definitely be a great and horrifying game with just some more work and TLC. I'll recommend it, but please know that it's far from perfect here on it's launch.
