It's not often I give up on a game this quickly, but I just couldn't summon the enthusiasm to continue any further. I'll keep it in my library and look out for future updates but, as things stand, I really don't think I could recommend this to anyone. I will say that the graphics are good. The screenshots provided lured me in, and I wasn't disappointed. The problem is that the game needs more than just good visual design. The sound really isn't good enough. The character's dialogue is a bit flat, but nothing too serious. I can understand why the developer didn't want the sound of wildlife in the outside sections, too. But there's hardly any sound aside from the (admittedly good) music. Footsteps, wind, anything like that would add to the opening section, especially since you're moving so slowly. The walking speed is annoying, but wasn't that bad, especially since I could use "run" to bring myself up to a moderate plod. I also turned off head bob, so didn't have the same problem as some reviewers. However, there were still some issues that just made me want to stop playing. None of them on their own are too bad, but together they just become frustrating. The gameplay just seemed boring. I understand the outside section is skippable, and more of a teaser for the graphics and ambience. However, I didn't enjoy wandering around the house, either. It's too slow to be exciting. The developer has clearly put a lot of time and effort into the logo screens when the game starts. It's a shame that this effort is immediately ruined when the game is starting and we see the town name change between the letter and the character arriving. The "map" is just bad, and ruins the atmosphere of those opening few minutes. I also encountered some strange issues I haven't seen other reviews mention: Crouching made it look like my character was standing on tiptoes rather than getting shorter. It still worked, but it looked very strange. I could only see the key if I crouched. Even though it was at waist height. I couldn't open doors if I stood in front of them, I had to back away. After realising that my batteries in my torch were draining while I tried to find the optimal distance to stand from a door to open it, I decided I'd had enough. This isn't un-salvageable, and the developer seems to still be working on the game, so it's quite possible this will eventually be worth a play. For now, though, unless you have a high threshold for jank, I'd suggest steering clear.

Gözlerini kapat. Her şeyin sizi yok etmek istediği, karanlık ve terörden başka hiçbir şeyin olmadığı bir dünyaya adım atın. Çığlık atan karanlıkla savaşma zamanınız geldi, cesur olun ve arkanıza bakmayın, yoksa başaramazsınız.
Garbage thrown together from scraps and sticks. There’s a chapter called Torture Chamber, but in reality the whole game is a torture chamber. The dev used and combined assets, but connected them so poorly that they conflict with each other. Skipping cutscenes opens a new window asking yes or no, but it doesn’t skip anything—it just closes when the cutscene ends, and you can even open the inventory while that window is up. The mobs are crippled and super slow, their AI is broken—they just spin in place. Supposed to scare me, but it was just funny. The sounds are awful: when the character takes damage, he says stuff in a completely unfazed voice like “ow, that hurts” or “I took damage, I shouldn’t take damage,” and other cringey lines. Audio tracks overlap when the character talks and, at the same time, gets blown up by a mine. When you press Ctrl, it feels like your head falls off and rolls on the floor, and you can peek through textures. Also, no idea why the dev added a “worship” button. The dev didn’t give a damn about the game—I’m putting more effort into this review than they did into making it. Negative reviews are absolutely deserved, and projects like this belong off Steam and on itch.io.
I HATE THIS GAME
Game is subpar, it takes the idea of amnesia, or outlast and then slams it into a uninspired blender. Massive inventory bugs, the slow movement, while used to great effect to create a sense of hopelessness in other titles here feels forced and unnecessary, gun combat is beyond unwieldy, with a semiautomatic 9mm that feels grossly anaemic, and with a fire rate of a flint and powder musket. enemies stand completely still, removing all elements of horror, which to the designers credit was good in the opening chapter, exploring the mansion; however from there on it was poorly done, and fearing the monsters in the dark is only scary if the monsters are something to be feared. I had some confusion to the setting as well, an earlier moment had it set in 1984, but then the character uses a smartphone? sloppy. would recommend the solo dev takes this game, leans the lessons and focus on delivering quality where they can. perhaps narrowing scope. Good luck with the next one
Let it cook for 3 more years.
