About
The choice is simple. Walk through the Red door, or the Blue door. Once on the other side you may find yourself in strange, disturbing, comforting, or even funny places.
Hundred Doors is a first-person psychological horror experience where you must explore a series of surreal, unsettling rooms—each one stranger, darker, and more twisted than the last.
With only your wits and limited interaction, you’ll witness deeply disturbing scenes, emotional echoes, and uncanny visions designed to leave you uncomfortable, intrigued, and even guilty.
Each door you open takes you deeper. Some lead to quiet moments of reflection or eerie peace. Others spiral into nightmares of guilt, shame, and fear.
Your choices matter, even when they seem meaningless. Some rooms react to your presence. Some watch you. Others remember.
There is no combat. There is no escape.
Just a simple question:
Can you make it through all one hundred doors?

A cool little game that offered a couple of hours of fun. Has surprisingly quite a few jump scares that got me a few times, has a mix of intense spooky moments, and relaxing ones. This leads you in to a false sense of security as each room is random, so I often found I would let my guard down only to be jump scared in the next room. The PSone graphic are charming and really send you on a nostalgia trip. I came across several easter eggs from franchise such as Tomb Raider, Resident evil and MGS to name a few, there was some TV show and movie easter eggs too, which were a nice surprise. Game play was simple and easy to understand and ran into no issues while playing. Definitely worth the price for a few hours of fun. Oh definitely play with headphones.
im not sure why. but i keep getting softlocked after the first ghost. first the shop door refused to open before restarting level with the left analogue stick button which is incorrect in the tutorial when it is in fact right analogue button. also i couldnt get the matches from the clerk to progress for some reason. game has potential. the first ghost needs a little more polishing on its movements. i could not do anything else because of the two questionable softlocks. the menu highlighted selectors for pause screen and main menu is not moving accordingly and is confusing. and uh i couldnt change monitor from windows mode and move it to my other monitor and fullscreen it there off my desktop so i can multitask. im new to all indy games. and im hoping this one works out for you ink ribbon.
Fun little game! Didn't expect to play for 3 hours in one sitting to get the light ending but I am happy to say I enjoyed my time with it despite my butt and arm hurting from playing the game!
I loved all the different areas. The scares that are in here can get you if only briefly. Lots of funny parts. This game will reward for being curious so explore. All in all not a bad game could use like a run feature or if you really wanted to a pick your door feature but only if you beat the game. If you wanted to revisit a certain room instead of having to replay the whole game.
Here are 25 facts I learned while playing- just kidding. Fun game! Very much worth playing if you are an experiential gamer (it's most similar to games like LSD: Dream Emulator, Hypnagogia, things like that, where the point is just to find and explore a bunch of fun situations for their own sake). Many neat areas, fun things to see, genuinely funny and moving moments, and absolutely great sound design imo. Even if the Skeletons were listening to some questionable tunes... The skull hunting I could see getting in some people's way as some of them are pretty well hidden, so don't feel too bad if you'd rather just skip the whole affair, I don't think it would ruin the experience. Though I will say that having the skulls does help encourage you to explore and find things you might not have if you were just wandering through aimlessly. Regardless, good game! IMO there should be a thousand doors next time. :)
Kai this is a simple and fun game, but I got stuck after 20 mins and collecting 5 skulls. There was no restart, nothing to do/click, so I quit. All my progress gone. I can see others having the same issues in the community tab too. I am refunding for now, will come back (even if full price) once that is fixed.
I really loved how nostalgic this game felt. As someone who grew up playing PS1 games, it hit that sweet spot for me. The exploration was engaging, letting you take your time to appreciate everything around you. There were some moments where the game just felt calm and chill, which made the experience even more enjoyable. keep it up kai <3 I really appreciate your effort and the love that you put into this project so I am looking forward to see more games from you.
I watched the YouTube Video. I love the idea of 'Just Make a Small Game' Damn it !! Cheap enough to download and see just how good / bad it really is. Some serious 'Duke Nukem' - Retro Vibes... I love that it has steam achievements. Why not add an achievement for - every 10 Skulls ? The player must 'collect all' skulls - in that section to allow them to 'Save' and Start from that point. ( You can have a limit of 10 Game Slots. ) This has inspired me to make my Own 'Small' Game - and avoiding some of the problems I see in your game. Let me say - Well Done - for " Making a Small Game !!! " So many people try - yet - so few succeed. !!
A Polished Love Letter to the PS1 Era For a debut indie title, this game is remarkably well-executed. The technical performance is seamless, with no notable bugs to disrupt the experience—a rare feat in the current landscape. The gameplay flow is intuitive, and the PS1-inspired aesthetic serves as a perfect backdrop for the clever pop culture references woven throughout. While the "true ending" requires some persistence, the payoff is well worth the effort. It captures the distinct charm of early 2000s PlayStation Magazine demos while maintaining modern stability. I’m giving this a 9/10 for a stellar first effort. I look forward to seeing what this developer does next.
This game is SO fun to play with friends and my partner; it's fascinating hearing the different reactions and door choices! I almost always let my audience choose since I love getting input from people I care about. You did amazing on this game! Still looking forward to fully beating it! PS: The references I have seen are literally perfect, PLEASE consider making another game. PSS: Your voice acting is awesome too; makes me want to give it a shot! Whoever is considering this game, it's definitely worth it!
