Clever games curator review: 5/10. A bland survivors style game held back by two main issues. (1) you only upgrade between waves so there's no incentive to pick up the coins that are dropped while playing, which means the action part of the game is 100% just running away, which gets boring fast. (2) weapons mostly amount to different auto-aim and auto-fired projectiles that feel very interchangeable. In between waves is the most interesting part of the game, as every buff comes with an additional debuff so there's some strategy in deciding which upgrades to take. But actually, those tradeoffs don't seem that impactful when you are playing. And at least to my middle-aged eyes the font choice and size makes reading those stats more painful than pleasurable. Maybe the game would get better when I unlocked more of the upgrades with repeated runs, but I played to the near end of a run (13 waves) and was looking forward to it being over. You can't hide all the good/fun stuff under unlocks. Music and graphics are very pleasant in a retro-minimalism kind of way. Controls are fine (gamepad).

Easy to pick up, snappy pacing, and plenty of options and builds to experiment with. All the stats and effects are explained clearly in the tooltips so it never feels overwhelming or obscure. This is a solid Survivors-style game. The game's being consistently worked on and updated throughout Early Access and the dev seems committed and responsive to feedback. As of writing there's already a decent (and consistently expanding) amount of content, and the game is very much playable right now. All Early Access green flags. Experience is great on both Windows and Steam Deck, with some occasional slight wonkiness when mixing mouse and gamepad navigation in the menus (which is also an aspect that's improved over the last few patches). This game is worthwhile to pick up now.
I will leave the cat here, so that everybody who passes by can pet it and give it a thumbs up and awards. /> フ | _ _ l /` ミ_xノ / | / ヽ ノ │ | | | / ̄| | | | | ( ̄ヽ__ヽ_)__) \二つ
Fun, unique game.
Very fun! I wish there was a way to turn off screen flash.
It is satisfying and has good meta progression. Very chill.
Couldn't even finish one game. Took me till wave 15 to realise this game need lot more balancing and none of the functions are really thought out. It's just not fun as it is.
It's far too much like Brotato. I appreciate it's following in its footsteps / trying to compete in the same genre, but there's far too much similarity throughout.
Pathetic, annoying Brotato wannabe.
Good roguelike that twists the survivors formula in it's own way. Very good if you like build optimization and minmaxing.
