Cute human tamagotchi simulator. All you need in a mouse with left click. It's a small sticker like window that just sits over whatever you doing, but! It's very quick so don't expect you'll be able to do any real work while it's living. The game has 14 hidden achievements, pretty much all tied to death of your human in some manner. Reading the name and description should give you a hint about how to do so. In total, it took me about an hour to get them all. Depending how long it takes to get the 14th "death", your time will vary. Music in the game is cute, and when partying you can turn on various buttons to add variations to the music. You can completely turn it off if you wish too. The controls are explained, but they are a bit hard to read in my opinion. The buttons fill up needs, the switch toggles life and part mode, and holding the small pin button on the bottom will reset your human should they die.. or you just want a new one. All in all, was a fun little game and I am curious what else the devs will put out in the future.
This is a pretty unique, quirky but vague little managing game (this is NOT an idler!) There is not a lot you can do, but you can get different "endings" depending on how you manage your human. To give yourself some direction, you can try to get all the achievements... but the problem with those is that a few of them seem bugged and sometimes unobtainable. I did manage to get a few of the bugged achievements after a couple more tries though, but it does seem a bit finicky.
For more review like this, check us out over at Hot or Not Reviews!
🔥HOT🔥 Human Souvenir is a desktop pet/Tamagotchi management game where you have to balance the 6 needs of the human: Food, Sleep, Exercise, Cleanliness, Toilet and Happiness Failing to balance one of these factors and letting the green bar reduce to 0 will cause the character to die. These actions can be accessed through the 5 main buttons in the center of the application, although for happiness you will need to switch to party mode which can be seen left of the buttons. These stats will start randomly incremented each time you reset, which can either make it full or almost depleted. There are 14 deaths/"Endings" which all have an achievements, they can be seen in the top left of the game, where the circles filled in represent the endings found. These are relatively simple to attain and aren't tedious to seek out, especially since the descriptions and images on the achievements indicate what criteria needs to be met to earn them. Attaining all these deaths took me around 30 minutes, although may vary on your luck. The artwork of the game is very charming, being my personal favourite part of this game. The audio is also great, having music changes and sound queues either from the character or through the music to indicate their action or if one of the core six stats are low/depleting. There is also a help button which will show you how to interact with the app, which helped me significantly. This game has a lot of charm hence why I would recommend giving this one a shot, especially you got it by being a member of the Sokpop Patreon (Like I did!). Don't sleep on this game just cause it's a takeover title!
Fun little toy. I think it could do with having a mode to slow everything down, so you could use it like an actual virtual pet, and leave it up on another screen while you do other things.
Fun weird little Tamagotchi-like
Very charming, creative and beaming with warmth. 'Idler' tag is a little stretch though.
help your human, fail, repeat, not much else to do
way faster paced than expected, games hard but very charming, me like. Do not buy if you expect a slow paced background semi-idle game, this is 1000x speed tomogachi.
Tamagochi vibe needs a bit of optimization so that you can move the game were you'd like but i enjoy the classic CD game feel it gives me
Funny little game, discovering all the differents death is cool. But you need to know that the game is really short and not that much replayable. Consider suscribing to the Sokpop's patreon instead of buying the actual game, I guess it's the best thing to do. Enjoyable Experience
