HuGe

HuGe – платформер, фишка которого вращения уровня для того, чтобы перемещаться. Идея стара как мир. Самые обычные линейные уровни, телепорты, препятствия. Всё сделано максимально лениво, вдобавок игра не в раннем доступе, но сама по себе не доделана. Dnovel себе не изменяет и над дизайном не париться. Максимально простые фоны по больше чёрно-серого и красного для опасности, но в этот раз в цветовую палитру были добавлены и другие цвета, в общих чертах игра выглядит так, словно уровни рисовались в Paint. Порталы для уровней выглядят так, словно это какие это «артефакты». Звуки ужасны, музыки нет, наверно второе к лучшему. Баги, без них тоже никак. Очень часто вылетает игра. Мусор с купленными отзывами.

HuGe is yet another asset flip/construction kit flip from serial shovelware copy+paste "artists", Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software. These guys do nothing but rip off asset store assets and copy game tutorials and templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Today's "effort" from these guys is HuGe, and it's a garbage 2D minimalist "rotating level" puzzle "platformer" slapped together with the godawful Cocos Creator game development kit, presumably a copy+paste from someone else's actual work developing a game. DNovel seem to really love this template as they've copy+pasted it several times with a different skin (Neon, LP, RotateX, etc etc etc). As a game, it's terrible, of course. It's janky, resolution and controls are locked, and the gameplay is so poor it gave me a migraine. For that reason, as a "game", this is below acceptable standards, and has no real merit or value as a genuine, sincerely made PC game. Using game construction kits doesn't need any talent or professional game development effort, and results in terrible shovelware like HuGe. The status of this thing as nothing but an asset flip cash grab is cemented by the "developers" prior history of asset flip/construction kit scams, the sheer number of fake/compromised/VA Steam accounts they used to write fake reviews (all with the same broken English), the laughable $3 USD price tag for this garbage, and they way they dumped it into DailyIndieGame bundles immediately at launch.
