I recommend this to someone who's never played a platform game and is looking for a place to start
A very atmospheric 2D platformer puzzle game about a boy trying to get back to his mother by bringing colour to a monotone world. There is also a little bit of a metroidvania element, as some backtracking is required to get all the collectible items for one of the achievements. The game took me about 6 hours to 100%, so not long at all. The art style is beautiful, the soundtrack is gorgeous, the story is sweet, and the puzzles are challenging enough without being frustrating. [b] I give it an 8.5/10 [/b], simply because the backtracking was a bit annoying and could have been better with a level selector rather than having to replay entire sections of the game. I don't think I would pay full price for it (CA$16.99 is a bit steep for a game like this), but on sale, it's definitely worth it.

🎨 Hue: When Changing the Background Is the Puzzle Hue is a clever puzzle-platformer where you literally delete obstacles by changing the background colour. Match the colour, object disappears. Don’t match it, you fall and regret your life choices. The puzzles are smart, fair, and occasionally make you feel like a genius.. until the next one humbles you. Controls are simple, the art style is clean, and watching the world slowly gain colour is oddly satisfying. The soundtrack is chill enough to keep you calm while your brain melts. It’s not super long (about 5–6 hours), but it doesn’t overstay its welcome. A few puzzles get fiddly near the end, but nothing rage-quit worthy. ✅ Great puzzles ✅ Unique mechanic ✅ Relaxing vibes ⚠️ Sometimes tricky, sometimes sneaky Verdict: Buy it on sale, play it in a cozy afternoon, feel smart.

this puzzle platformer is very great because the story is engaging and the soundtrack is really great. The puzzle are balanced to be both challenging without losing engagement. You should buy this game if you love good stories. The way you need to change the colors to navigate around the puzzles is very nice
