House of Lost Souls

I really want to like this game, it has so much potential. The voice acting is flat and emotionless, so many jump scares but no atomsphere. The story is weird and feels inconsistent, There is a lot of potential here Id give it a 4/10

If I could, I'd give this a "maybe." I achieved everything in this game and finished it from front to back. It was hard to get the hang of at first. I didn't know what to do and then I learned that the character I was playing was telling me what to do next, which was fine. However, I don't think I'd ever play this again. I didn't like how it ended after all I did and went through in the game. It had OK jump scares and it was an OK story, but unbelievable -- not realistic. I prefer realistic type of stories. Plus, for as big as the game was, I wish it had more of a premise, help and better characters. They were cheaply input, imo.

The only redeeming quality of this game is the jump scares, but even those got predictable after a while. Story, voice acting, and overall game play weren't great. That's an hour and 30 minutes of my life I'd pay 7 bucks to get back.

This game was so spooky. Good jumpscares, no to much and well placed. Sometimes it is a bit of search what to do next. Overall a very good game.

Can't play it, because it doesn't have the basic feature of inverting the Y axis. Last update was a month after release and the dev doesn't answer any inqueries or bug reports. Unfortunately it seems abandoned -> money thrown out of the window.
