It is an ok hidden object game. It was a bit sparse on the hidden object scenes and it did drag on a bit to me, but I wasn't too bad. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (5.13-5).
While good, this entry in the House of 1000 Doors series is quite different from its predecessors. The graphics have been updated, the puzzles and hidden object scenes made easier, and the voice acting quite a bit better. However, I find the game rather short and somewhat disjointed at points. The story DID keep me going, for a bit, but it lost steam about 3/4 of the way through. Still, I would recommend this to any fans of the series or Hidden Object Adventure games in general.
This is my favorite genre, and I've played 100s of these games. With this one, I was constantly hitting the Hint button. I'm not shy of hitting the Hint button, but I hope I don't have to do it too often. Maybe I'm just an idiot with this particular game, but I often couldn't fathom what to do next (within the amount of effort I normally want to expends on these rather mindless games). Others may enjoy it. It has all the usual features. it was bright and colorful. Someone has a pretty wild and crazy imagination who developed this game, which is good. But for me, it was a no-go. I think I finished it the first time after buying it (in 2020). I didn't write a review won it then and didn't remember it. I tried to play it a second time this week, and quit. And I am now writing this review. I hardly ever quit one of these games.
This game is really buggy. The flickering of the screen really takes the fun out of it.
A really cool game. Its a complete change of pace from the original in terms of graphics and mechanics, but pretty well made. They took a great risk in changing the whole game but they did it pretty well. The graphics and the puzzles where good, there is a little graphics bug in the bonus chapter but nothing too bad Still it feels good that they ended this series while it still has its essence. The story is mostly like the other parts but this is the whole point in the house of thousand doors. All in one i can highly recommend this game
The 4rth in the series, this game again surprised me with its unique premise compared to the previous games. Same puzzle style as before, though I found the environments less engaging. There was also a strange flickering when zooming in on areas. I'm not sure if that's just because I'm playing at a higher resolution than designed, but it was a little distracting. Otherwise, not a bad game. ^-^
Cozy, relaxing, with a guide if you get lazy, and plenty of hints.

This was a really fun game with a new main character, but all previous characters are still part of the game. Hidden object modes are varied, and some are quite fun. The puzzles (in casual) are just about the difficulty to expect, maybe a teensy bit lower or on the easier side. The story is really good and finally a good ending. Now a BIG con- The bonus chapter would not play. Once given the option to select the chapter (it is the only option since the main story has a lock on it) it restarts the main story line. I checked discussions and some outside websites and could not find a fix for this. It is very unfortunate since the game play and story on this one was very enjoyable. All in all, great game but can't say anything about the bonus chapter due to this bug which apparently has affected other people as well.
