This was a really fun game with a new main character, but all previous characters are still part of the game. Hidden object modes are varied, and some are quite fun. The puzzles (in casual) are just about the difficulty to expect, maybe a teensy bit lower or on the easier side. The story is really good and finally a good ending. Now a BIG con- The bonus chapter would not play. Once given the option to select the chapter (it is the only option since the main story has a lock on it) it restarts the main story line. I checked discussions and some outside websites and could not find a fix for this. It is very unfortunate since the game play and story on this one was very enjoyable. All in all, great game but can't say anything about the bonus chapter due to this bug which apparently has affected other people as well. Nowhere near as good as the previous House of a 1000 Doors games. Exceedingly fanciful and and I lost whatever plot there was very quickly. Emily is described as a young woman - but her little voice sounds like that of a child. I took the voiceover sounds down to minimum.

right as a fan of the game series for years, i decided to play it. Not an hour in and i can say this sucks i fear. My honest opinion, there's no logic, they don't tell you what and how, you don't play as Kate and the characters just don't feel the same, there's no beyond objects and i genuinely cant play this without using a million hints which sucks since in all the other games you could mostly figure it out on your own. It feels like a whole different game from how everything changed. I'm sorry but this is ass bro

The best of all the House of 1000 Doors games. Interesting and varied puzzles, lots of point & click for fans of the genre and hours of gameplay. Less HO than some of the others. The hint and skip buttons come in handy if you're pressed for time, but I didn't need to use too often.

It is nowhere near as good as the previous three games.

Бесспорно, визуально и технически лучше предыдущих частей, но сюжетно...честно, после того, как доиграла, минуту сидела с лицом "ну и что это сейчас было?". Если бы не прошла эту часть, то ничего бы не потеряла.

I brute force through the bugs but when i am near the end it glitch and all my progress us lost.
