About
Scare, terrify and thrill guests as you build the haunted attraction of your nightmares. Build and design elaborate attractions with incredible detail to scare your guests enough to leave before they can reach the exit, or risk losing fear reputation and cash.
BUILD
Build walls, doorways, trap doors, fake walls and more to guide your guests through the haunted attraction maze
Build pre-built hallways and rooms if you are feeling rushed to build or want to experiment with different themes.
Decorate your haunted attraction with lighting effects, ghostly paintings, spooky props and more.
Pick the colors to best scare your guests
Place scare traps along the way from ghosts to aliens and everything in between.
Purchase new attractions with fear reputation, but be careful the more of the same attractions you have and the closer they are to each other may result in a negative affect to your guests and not be as scary.
Ensure your attraction is ready for the next wave of guests and then prepare to see if your planning pays off.
Watch the profits roll in and see your fear reputation increase with every wave of visitors.
See how much more your guests will be able to withstand by monitoring the glowsticks they wear around their necks.
The further you progress the more you will need to work to scare your guests. Sinister traps are truly the stuff of nightmares as you have the ability to make guests disappear from the living and join the dead.
Don’t get caught or else your career will be over. Be sure to hire the best security and lawyers you can afford to keep investigations away from your haunted attraction.
Once you have earned enough scare reputation you will be able to progress and move to a new location and face unique challenges in a different part of town.
Different locations include:
Backyard Haunt
The Forest
The Old Factory
Abandoned Schoolhouse
Abandoned Amusement Park
The Lake
And more to come!

game devs go months with no word and leave the game almost unplayable. dont spend your money on this until its finished, it does have potential when its done
WARNING: RAGE INDUCING / BROKEN GAMEPLAY ***WAVE #1 CAN NOT BE COMPLETED.*** I want this game to be playable so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. It is making me irate how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ close this game is to being playable but just flat out is not. I don't think the dev knows what they want at this point. Started playing over a year ago. Wanted a game where I can essentially dress sets and light them. This game scratches that itch as it's janky controls let you place objects generally where you want them (breaking off the grid that other games locks you on). That is, in my opinion, the point of a tycoon; building. The dev updated the game in September and absolutely destroyed their game. The parts list is pointless and the money makes no sense. I wish I could spend the day reading about all those pointless parts on that uninviting UI but I wouldn't be able to afford any of the parts anyways since a lawyer alone costs $1,500+ YET you can expect to ONLY MAKE $250 A NIGHT unless you raise the toll per guest from $25 per ticket to a reasonable $500+ per ticket (breaking the immersion.. this ain't Disney World? The ♥♥♥♥?). None of this even matters because the guests CAN NOT make it past the first wave. On Backyard, the guests are blocked by elements outside of the buildable field. Place a windmill for electricity and the exit path shoots to the neighbor's backyard AND YOU'RE NOW DONE PLAYING- THIS CAN NOT BE FIXED. DELETE YOUR BUILD AND START AGAIN, ♥♥♥♥♥. Nothing is more infuriating than putting in all this time on a detailed build ONLY for the game's own mechanics to get in the way. To the devs, you called it *Horror Tycoon*. Please, please make it that. Please holy ♥♥♥♥ you are so close to making something SO FUN to play. The guest waves thing is not the audience pull- building a haunted house is. Please stop making a business simulator/defense game. Your audience wants to create haunted houses. I want to place endless amounts of different items in a room and light them and walk through it. I don't care about impact points or whether an item is "GREAT" 'cause I'm basically trying to make art. It ruins the whole vibe/point of the game. MAKE A TYCOON. ADD ITEMS. KEEP ADDING ITEMS. LET US PLAY SCARY SIMS NOT BALLOON POPPER OR WHATEVER THE HELL IS HAPPENING. Dude, please PLEASE fix the auto-exit (also, make it thinner it is way too wide currently). Add items. Just keep adding items. Don't add another menu/game mechanic, just keep adding items. This game is in the uncanny valley.

Well, its quite fun, so I will recommend it, but as other reviews mentioned, its far from a tycoon game, and leans more into tower defense. I think the developer would avoid confusion and false expectations if they renamed this game, because as it stands now this is kinda false advertisement.
You can't move the game from one window to another so it's basically useless bc I don't use monitor 1 to play my games.
sűrűn omlik össze! még korai fázisban van a játék! csodát senki se várjon tőle.
Love it. It has bug and glitches that can really get under your skin at times. However, it is still in the early stages. I'm sure the game will only get better.
i liked that this is the first haunted house game that you have freedom to do whatever you want
Update December 2025: Still the same bugs! Unbelieveble! Still unplayable! Really, don`t throw your money for this game. Devs said 2022: „The game will remain in early access until all features are complete and the game is stable and fun to play. Anticipated full release is October 2023.“ Still in Early Access! Since three years. No development at all. Developers are scratching their balls... Schade eigentlich. Also, haut rein liebe Entwickler und strengt euch ein bisschen an!
