Hop Step Sing! Summer Live 2023

周りは動きが自然なのに3人の動きはフレームが落ちて鑑賞しづらい。 ライブよりストーリーに比重を入れたのは良い試しだったが私の好みではなかった。 3人のモデリングも前回より退化した気もする。 個人的にはぽぷサマー3rd<<<1st<2nd順でよかった。 でも君達好きだからいいねで。

Did you ever see a live performance of Peter Pan at Christmas time, specifically those parts where Peter Pan addresses the audience? This is kind of like that with better music, more participation on your part, and cuteness levels through the roof. All wrapped up with honesty, and encouraging messages. It's a great show, a whimsical adventure, and there's nothing else like it in digital form. Note to the developers, please keep making these, and please keep making them playable without VR. I'm hooked! Also, the voice actor commentary was just as endearing as the show itself, thank you for that!

This concert is awesome! I watched it live and had a couple technical issues so I've been looking forward to the Steam version so I could rewatch it. They added a commentary track with the 3 HSS singers which is a very much appreciated feature. It's great to hear them just commenting and laughing along with the show. Thematically, this is HSS's best concert, by far! The "RPG musical" motif is amazing, combining musical numbers with a journey across the land to do battle with the Demon Lord in order to break the curse and return the smiles to the people. The audience members take on the role of the villagers and you follow the HSS Circus Troupe armed with your Hop Sword and emotes so you can join in and help break the curse! The girls' outfits, the dance routines and the environments are all great. The one minor negative point is that there is way too much talking. The gate scene, in particular, is twice as long as it needs to be. Even after the gate is blown up into a million pieces, it *STILL* keeps talking for like 10 more minutes... It's my understanding the the voice actor for the gate is kind of a big shot so maybe they gave him a lot of lines as a fanservice kind of deal but it just went on way too long for my liking. If they shaved the talking down by like 8 minutes and fit two more songs in this concert would be perfect but it's still pretty awesome even with that minor issue. For any HSS fan, this is a must-buy. If you're new to HSS, I'd suggest picking up a few of their cheaper music video singles first and seeing if you like them. Kimamani Summer Vacation or Happy People is a good starting point, IMO.

You'd think in 2024 there'd be a lot of standalone anime girl concert content like this in the VR scene but nope. These girls are still basically the only ones around, especially ones that aren't inside VRChat. If you like this sort of thing, the entire HSS catalog is a must-have including this one.

「VR限定」マークありつつディスクトップモードでキーボード操作もできる模様。 起動後にPCディスプレイのほうに表示されている言語選択後にボタン選択でVRへの切り替えができる。最初HMD被った状態だったので音だけ流れて始まらないと焦った。 値段が今までより高額ではあるが、楽曲はいままでVR化されてないものが多めなので人によってはある意味お得かも。 ゲーム紹介文にあるRPG部分は何回も再生するとなるとくどいかもだが、曲から再生のオプションも選択可能なのでまあ良いかなと。 曲中にシューティング（魔力）かますし、人の魔法で飛び上がり人の視界を遮るわで客は厄介が多い。（オプションで0人にできる） 自分もどうにかステージ上に乱入できないが挑戦したが巻き戻されてしまって無理だったのだが、最後の楽曲でまさかのあの対応に不覚にも感動した。

過去作とは異なり、ライブの合間に話すのではなく、物語（話）の合間にライブを挿入するという印象。 そのため、3人の可愛らしさにほっこりと魅了されるかどうかが、楽しめるかのポイントかも（自分は楽しめました）。 ディ〇ニーランドのようなアトラクションは、かなり凝っていて、このようなエンターテインメントを自宅で楽しめるのは嬉しい限り。

待ってた 今回はVRMVになっていない曲多めです [strike]VRヘッドセットが必要とありますが、デスクトップモードでも動作しました[/strike] 2024/11/29のパッチでVR/デスクトップ両用に訂正され、起動時にモード選択メニューが付きました
