Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very nice, very good one thing though... stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ playing in game status updates and removing my ability to move units. stop. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. doing that. its SO ANNOYING!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is an absolute gem for a strategy fans. It takes the classic Homeworld formula and brings it down to the planet’s surface, without losing the series’ unique atmosphere. The battles are genuinely spectacular — watching massive land carriers clash with swarms of vehicles feels epic every time. The main story really surprised me too; it’s emotional, well-paced, and ties beautifully into the larger Homeworld universe.
Faithful to the originals while being its own thing. Gameplay could use a little more complexity but overall it's a worthwhile campaign for any Homeworld fan.
It's kind of hard to recommend this because it's such a step down from the prior 2 games. So if you want something close to the goodness of those, this isn't that. It's also pretty slow and repetitive and barebones for a modern RTS, so this isn't too attractive for most, Still, it's got similar gameplay to the old games. It was buggy for me because it's tied into EGS servers and their servers were flaky while I was playing it, so in particular there was one mission I completed all the objectives for and it wouldn't progress so I had to do it again. I like this type of game a lot, but even with that, I'd only rate this one maybe a 5/10. I much more recommend getting the Homeworld Remastered Collection, but if you've played that to death and want more, there's some fun here.
game seems to crash to desktop a lot...
Great art work attract me to play it and the game also fun like it.

We goin home
The game was.. an interesting one indeed. It certainly connects things from HW1 and HW2 as well as it being the PREQUEL of those 2 games. Unfortunately, it got REALLY buggy and it still does to this day. However, I'm writing a positive review. The idea, the graphics, the maps, the gamplay function of high-ground makes it strategic and fun to play. The AI is kind of.. bad in skirmish. The campaign though, was good and fun to play through, it certainly puts up a challenge in Hard difficulty too. It serves as a nice prequel with a lovely artstyle and an interesting story. It has some history to it too but you might need to play the prior HW games to fully grasp it. The resource managing in this game is.. weird but it's okay. (also multiplayer is dead unless you have friends and a community to play with)
