Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The game is decently fun. I played through the entire campaign and Enjoyed it. I didn't like it nearly as much as Homeworld and Homeworld 2 but those are 2 of my favorite games. I did thoroughly enjoy seeing more modern graphics for the series and it is quite a pretty game in my opinion. I don't believe the game should be $60. I do see why people are being really negative about it but It held my attention well enough to finish the campaign and that's more than I can say about about 90% of the games I play.
Enjoyable visuals, but abandoned by the developers. Terrible story. The Rogue-like mode is alright.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I wanted so much to like this game, even got the season pass. However this has got the worst control scheme in the series. I bounced off around half way through when the missions start requiring finer controls that the game just cant provide.
what a stupid sequel, with the emotional depth of a toddler. the missions are bland and rehashes of previous games. the plot is weak and rushed. with no attachment to any of the characters except for some notion of nostalgia. 98745623948578345 people died or whatever and the characters are like oh damn, anyway. the ai sucks getting killed without firing a shot. on the only bright side. the ships looks goodish. the flip axis of the mothership is interesting.
Devs abandoned this, Season pass was for basically nothing
In my opinion the story is trash when compared to homeworld 1, 2, and cataclysim. then again this game was released when wokeness and trash was all that big company devs wanted to release. now i only play for the war games mode which could be a lot better.
very little tactical aspects in campaign, just blob units and overwhelm.
Unfortunately a far cry from the originals, very short playtime and the story is fairly shallow. The new controls for the UI was also rubbish compared to how the originals just simply worked.
