Die Pixelgrafik ist ganz nett und ich mags, wenn man selber die Geschichte herausfinden muss. Das ist aber auch schon alles an Positivem, was ich über das Spiel sagen kann. Man kann ganz gut herausfinden, was mit der Ehefrau und dem Kumpel passiert ist. Jedoch gibt es im großen Ganzen einige Dinge, die trotzdem extrem unklar sind. Das wird viele Spieler bestimmt unbefriedigt zurücklassen. Der erste Spieldurchlauf macht anfangs noch etwas Spaß (wenn man Bock auf einen Laufsimulator mit viel Lesen hat). Doch zum Ende hin und bei den anderen vier Spieldurchläufen hatte ich keinen Spaß mehr. Wenn man alle Errungenschaften erspielen möchte wird das Spiel langatmig und öde. Die anderen Enden hätten nicht existieren müssen, denn es hätte an der Geschichte nichts geändert. Es ist letzten Endes ein langsames, unklares und langweiliges Spiel.

I think this game is a product of the times. If I played this in 2012 I may have enjoyed it more, but in 2025 it's clunky, confusing and slow. The narrative never answers it's own questions leading to an unsatisfying ending. Maybe if you 100% it will answer all the questions it poses, but when every play through takes 1.5 hours of slow movement, crawling text, and needing to investigate every item? Not worth the money or playtime. If you're really interested, watch a play through.

This game was ok.

Decent game. The ending is really only determined by choices that you make on the very last level. Until that point, the game is pretty linear. The game autosaves your progress, so you can't go back to the start of the last level and change your ending choices to get different endings, meaning you have to play through the entire game to see the different ends. This unfortunately makes seeing the other endings pretty tedious unless you just look them up online. That said, it's still worth a playthrough, especially at the cheap price. It's not super scary, more atmospheric and creepy, and I enjoyed it for that. The mystery is intriguing enough to keep you going, and the main game itself is short enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome, but long enough to still leave an impression. It leaves a lot up for interpretation, but not in a lazy or unfinished way; it's done very deliberately and makes you think about the possibilities.

Home is a short, atmospheric pixel horror game that leans heavily on psychological dread and mystery rather than jump scares, and for the most part it pulls off that eerie, unsettling mood remarkably well — the sound design and dark atmosphere kept me genuinely tense throughout. The core concept of a story that molds itself to your choices is clever, and I appreciated how items you find and decisions you make subtly shift the narrative. That said, the ending left me feeling hollow: rather than revealing anything, the game essentially hands you a half-assembled puzzle and shrugs, asking you to fill in the rest yourself, which feels less like artful ambiguity and more like an unfinished story. At roughly an hour to complete and a price tag under $3, it's hard to be too harsh — there's something genuinely memorable about the atmosphere — but if you need narrative payoff, look elsewhere. Recommended only if you're comfortable supplying your own conclusions to a mystery that was never meant to be solved.

I think the price is fair considering it seems like a new developer made it and it's short for a game. It takes 1, 2 hours, tops. It's very simple for a game, and doesn't have much for replayability, but for a 1 time experience, its simple and nothing fancy, but its okay for a single playthrough. Personally I like supporting indie developers. Its not the worst game ever, so its up to you if you want to try it or not. Just don't go expecting some deep talent system or many choice options. Its linear and a murder mystery with a few choices thrown it. That's it,
