This Game has Osu! Support But the Fun is really Short Holodance has many modes But it takes long to Load Punching, Swinging, Shooting and Kicking But the Textures made me quitting Dear lovely Creator Please do us a Favor And give us a Major (update) That includes new Textures with many new pictures <3 The idea of the game is really nice so please take this advice and make this game worth the price
Had this for a couple of years now and come back to it every so often. It's changed a wee bit since i played it last - they seem to have taken away a couple of things i liked and tweaked another couple of things but i suppose that's progression... All in all I still play cause it's fun burning a few calories dancing yer butt off for a wee while :) Then i go back to my shoot em ups! Buy it - its a good game!
I went into the free mode first and wasn't sold as I have beat saber, audio shield and space pirates which TBH I think did a better job in the workout and matching the song to the beats department compared to the song I tried in this game. It just didn't seem to match up very well and had large gaps where nothing happening and you either had to skip parts of the song or just stand there until the game started giving you more things to hit. Also very annoying that you have to wait ages for each song to download as no demo songs seem to come preinstalled that I could find. It would have been nice to know an internet connection is required to play parts of this game. I then tried the story mode and the dragon was really cool. Will probably keep it to go through the story section at least.
Great way to exercise! THE GOOD The dragons! It's a fun, entertaining way to dance and get fit at the same time. The workouts. They're great, but not unbearable. The instruments. Complete one instrument and you get to dance to another. The scenery is beautiful. THE BAD For some reason, when I selected the "Instructions," none of the options worked apart from "Quit Game." I couldn't go back, I couldn't close the window; I could only quit and restart. When you hit one of the spheres, a little bubble appears above it telling you how many points you scored. While this is a nice idea, the score bubble blocks the view of incoming spheres. I missed several because I literally couldn't see them coming behind the bubble. I hope the developers fix this. AND THE JUST PLAIN MISC I can't find any way to import my own music. This is probably because I've only been playing for a short time, but if it is a feature, it's not immediately obvious, and if it's not, I hope it can be added. All in all, a fantastic dance game! I look forward to seeing where the developers will take this next!
This game shines for me on the local music custom tracks. Unfortunately it is buried in the options and marked as experimental. It will give you a good shoulder workout. As a fellow developer I am in awe of the depth of the menu system, navigating it is almost a game in itself.
This is probably the first and still best rythm game on pcvr . its fast paced . with different modes to play . i highly recommend this game to any person looking for a great vr experience
As a fairly new VR player, I'm having a BLAST with Holodance -- my most played VR game by far. I'll admit I haven't even checked out the osu! songs but immediately threw a bunch of house and eurodance classics, and boy is it exhilerating. The auto beatmap isn't perfect (basic orbs and sliders), some songs aren't great, but others are fantastic and a great way to work out and have fun (Party Rock for example). Once I start playing, I can't let go for 60 to 120 minutes. As for drawbacks, I had a short freeze once and that's about it (WMR - Odyssey+, Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 1080). If you like that sort of thing or are looking to work out with VR, give it a try. Beware the sweat on your equipment, though.
如果你玩osu!,也最好有耐心去弄明白配置文件Configuration.json。 Translated by google: In general, it is a more playable game. Of course, you also need to be patient enough to explore the English-based menu. Although it seems that you can choose the Chinese language, unfortunately there are still a lot of English content to understand. If you play osu !, it is best to have patience to figure out the configuration file Configuration.json. Story mode feels like playing for children, the image of the dragon is really a bit naive, but fortunately there is free mode, I only play free mode. Although this is paid, it does have some more options than McOSU, such as closing the slider (slider) and rotating action (spinner). Therefore, playing more freely. Playability is also better, you can choose the character avatar. You can use the tracker to kick with your feet. This is good and helps to increase the amount of exercise. However, there are still many areas that can be improved, and I feel the most urgent need for improvement: 1. The character cannot be saved in free mode, and you need to reset it when you enter next time. After reading the forum, the developer said that it will improve in 2018, but it seems that it still does not work now. Hope to finish it soon. 2. Online resources such as osu are slow to download here, so I usually download them to the local and play. I have set the path of osu !, but I cannot find the local music resource on the menu. It seems that when selecting music, there is no option to display local music only . 3. The vive vibration is a bit exaggerated, the hands are numb, and you need an option to adjust the vibration. At present, I use the steamVR handle setting to turn off the vibration to accept it, but the problem is that the feel is really worse. I hope these questions can be supported by the developers, thank you. (An English answer is acceptable, thank you!) ------------------------ attached the answer(下面是开发者的回复,解决了我上面的疑问:) Thank you for the feedback and including the Google Translation! 1. Do you mean the calibration of the Avatar? We did have a major improvement in this area in 2019: Now, when only using headset and controllers, you don't need calibration at all anymore. With trackers (e.g. for feet), it's a bit tricky because the trackers could be attached a little differently in each session, so using a stored calibration may give you trouble. But that's still something I'm hoping to add, anyways. 2. Did you find the Music Library settings? It's in this video: https://youtu.be/ierGqm0tjaQ?t=12 - there can select which sources should be shown in the library. For your situation, it's probably best to use "osu!: Holodance Songs Folder". 3. You can control the intensity of haptic feedback in "Finetune Gameplay", it's the first entry under "Guides and Feedback", called "Haptic Intensity", see also: https://youtu.be/ierGqm0tjaQ?t=20
