Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Been playing off and on since the original demo. I love the game, its deceptively simple, but increasingly challenging if you push into endless and play on the higher difficulty settings. Its become a mainstay for me as a game I jump on and get a few runs in. Sometimes it feels meditative just to dig around the mine and tinker with a build or go for a combo of a few different dwarfs/relics. Updates have been deep and consistent with great and thoughtful writeups. If this style of game interests you I would say its very worth your time.
A bit grindy to level. (atleast it used to be) But a really fun game!

Very good TD rouge like with a cool mid-run progression systems and variety of build options. The only thing i want right now is more content cause i unlocked everything and dont really have a reason to play more in a current gamemode and also more refind and expanded meta progression system, some of the perks are good, but some are weird and not really usefull like the one with upgraded stas node is really weird, why does it have to be only a chance? i remember runs where i had no dwarfs with upgraded stat. But otherall defenetly a recommendation from me!
Hold the Mine is a really solid little roguelike. It’s interesting, surprisingly strategic, and you can easily spend several enjoyable hours experimenting with different builds and approaches. That said, I think the early progression could use some balancing. Most resources feel available in reasonable quantities, but character upgrade gems are much harder to get consistently. Even when actively trying to find them by rerolling chests and prioritizing them, it can be difficult to upgrade enough characters quickly enough, especially once you start playing on higher difficulties. This also creates another issue with some of the buildings. There are quite a lot of buildings focused on status effects, which is interesting in theory, but because upgrading characters can be difficult, you can quickly end up with buildings that are basically useless for your current team. Meanwhile, there don't seem to be as many straightforward raw damage options for buildings. I think the balance between status-effect buildings and more generally useful damage buildings could be improved. Another small frustration is the amount of unbreakable blocks you can encounter while trying to dig quickly. I understand why they exist, and they definitely add some variety to the mine, but it also connects back to the upgrade gem problem. If you don't have enough gems nearby, you're encouraged to dig further and faster to find some, only to suddenly hit several unbreakable blocks and waste pickaxes in the process. It can feel a little punishing rather than challenging. I don't think the game needs to be easier overall. The difficulty is part of what makes it interesting. I just think the resource distribution and progression balance could use some tweaking, especially regarding character upgrade gems. The art direction is very nice, the gameplay loop is fun, and overall I’ve had a really good time with it. Definitely a good game, and with a bit more balancing it could be even better.
Fun little roguelike that's all about digging for ressources and finding synergies in order to create OP builds in order to survive as long as you can. The dev is active, the game is good, and Hold the Mine in early access is worth the money already.
