Great game, can recommend, here are some notes I took while I was playing: + The game teaches you everything very well, whatever system it is + Combat feels smooth, fluid, impactful, enjoyable. There is parry and dodge. Enemies have unique vulnerabilities which you can use to your advantage + Animations, spell effects, the world changing around you are beautiful. Impressive coding + Story pacing is great, easy to understand and follow. Very well written. I usually skip dialogues in other games, but here I didn't skip any of them + Your character comments about what you're doing while on a quest + Beautiful handcrafted world, both inside the castle and the outside + Every system feels polished + The season can turn to winter, again with amazing new environment + Areas or rooms you can get into that are just there for immersion and lore, not to increase player power + Very well placed chests and loots that are satisfying to find + Pretty good ending with satisfying endgame boss + Playing the game and exploring the world is very immersive + I replayed the beginning of the game for some Steam achievements, and the remarks characters make foreshadow events + When you spend too much time on a puzzle, the characters comment on it as if thinking loudly, guiding you towards the solution + Some side quests that seem not so important actually unlock even more small content + Some side quests have a ton of work put into them and are very interesting +- The game feels 65% like playing an Assassin's Creed game and 35% like Skyrim. If you love those I think you will like this one too +- + Experienced my first softlock while already playing for 100+ hours while on a specific quest. I had to reload an earlier save. Only 2 other small visual bugs during the game +- The game REALLY wants you to collect everything in the game, you will find out after the end of the main questline. Some collectibles are not directly marked on the minimap and cannot be followed, but the general area is defined. I still found it eastier to look up videos on YouTube or guides, and you know people do these because they have millions of views. - Dialogues (for large part of main quests) aren't there to offer branching choices that impact quest outcomes most of the time (as far as I know). Mostly just to carry the conversation. There always seems to be at least 2 options, but they are mostly just flavor (relationship questlines and side quests surprisingly offer more choices) - I found that some models, dungeons, enemies are reused so often that it almost becomes recycled. Even during the main quest, the early game and endgame are fleshed out, middle game has some repetition (But still most of them are unique) All in all it took me 65 hours of in-game time to complete the whole game and get all the achievements. It is not a game that does anything revolutionary, but it does everything it needs very well. You can also feel they put a lot of love into the game. I would rate it 7.75/10 Also some disclaimer, the game is set in the year 1890, that is about 100 years before Harry Potter, in case of confusion. So you will not be playing in the modern era, but you get to experience the wizarding world in the earlier ages.
Awsome game play and love the charatres are awsome
Najlepsza gra w uniwersum stworzonym przez J.K. Rowling, czuć tutaj mocno klimat szkoły magii, nie nudzi pomimo ogromnego świata. Jedyne czego zabrakło dla mnie to rozgrywek w Quidditcha. Ocena 8/10
