Himegimi Detective is a VN about Sayla Limehult, a princess that loves anime and comes to Japan to fulfill her dream of becoming a detective. The story is divided in 5 episodes/cases. Each with an independent story and different crime, but they come together to form a subplot. Each case has at least 5 bad endings and 1 true ending. There are 37 endings in total. For cases 1 through 4, almost all bad endings have the same outcome. They just are triggered in different moments of the story by the choices you make. For case 3 and 5, some choices matter and change the story/ending a little bit. All cases are very straightforward and they don't have different paths. For that reason, the number of characters in each case is limited. I believe they did the right choice in that regard. There's not insignificant character or unnecessary story filler. The crimes are very interesting and I liked the story/explanation behind them. Would be nice if they did a sequel so we can find out what happens with that subplot + Sayla's career. Bought on release. The price was fair back then. Recommended. 8/10

「エキセントリック ミステリー」と称しているように、 現実離れした登場人物が多いです。 しかし、事件そのものや推理部分はまともです。

ラタニーア国の王女セイラ・ライムハルトが見聞を広め・人生経験を積むために日本にて幼少の頃から憧れていた探偵事務所を開き、執事のヴァルツとともに姫君探偵として５つの事件を解決するヴィジュアルノベルゲームです。 １話完結ものの全５話で、全ての話で選択肢式のマルチエンディングとなっています。 面白かったです。 ライトノベルがお好きなお方にお勧めです。 各話ともに推理物としてはかなり軽い感じなので本格ミステリがお好きなお方には不満が出るかもしれません。 私はプレイしていて”これは少女漫画がそのままライトノベルになったような、そんな感じだな～”と思いました。 BGM・SEは場面場面に合っていて、UIも良くできていてプレイしやすかったです。 特に一度読んだ文章をスキップ出来る機能は周回プレイに役に立ちました。 セーブも沢山(５０個ぐらい)好きなときに出来るので、これも周回プレイ時に助かりました。 推理はプレイヤーがしなければいけない作りになっています。 推理時の選択肢を間違えるとほぼバットエンド一直線なので注意をしてください。 推理内容は、与えられた情報を整理すれば「物語にいろいろツッコミをいれたいけど・・・これまでに出てきた情報から考えると、正解はこれしかないな」というところまで絞り込めるようになっています。 結構突然にプレイヤーに推理させる選択肢が出てきますので、出てきた情報は覚えておくことをお勧めします。 物語は面白かったですが、残念だったのが全話共通して「絵」が足りないことです。 どうしてここで絵がないの！？と何度も思いました。 どうしてこの格好良い場面で絵がないの！？どうしてこの場面で全体を見せてくれないの！？と絵が欲しい場面で絵がないことが少し残念でした。 しかし、まあ、それは、このお値段であくまでノベルが主体なので仕方がないですね。 バグを発見しました。 ネタバレを含みますので隠します。 [spoiler]第五話で大声で名前を呼ばずに急いで駆け寄った場合、メルクさんが殺されます。 そして鷲巣警部と姫様がコンビを組んでヴァイオリンを探します。 その後、鷲巣警部の提案を受けずに捜索を続行します。 そのままゲームを続けて次の章に行きます。 次の章に入ると、メルクさんが生きていて「後藤田さん」が客室にくる場面になってしまいます。 メルクさんは殺されているはずなのに、メルクさんが生きている物語に飛んでしまうのです。 そして何事もなかったように物語はメルクさんが生きている状態で終わりまで進みます。[/spoiler] このバグのせいなのかはわかりませんが実績が一つだけ取れません。 [spoiler]実績「５－５とんだ恥さらし」[/spoiler] 実績を全て取ろうとして選択肢をいろいろ試しましたが、この実績だけはどうしても取れません。 上のバグが関係しているのでしょうか？ このゲームをプレイ済みのお方で実績を全て取れたお方がいらっしゃいましたら[spoiler]「5-5とんだ恥さらし」[/spoiler]を取る方法を是非教えてください。 そして、このバグは発生しましたでしょうか？ それも教えていただけたら嬉しいです。 ** 2024/01/06 追記 ↓ ** バグは関係ありませんでした。 [spoiler]実績「５－５とんだ恥さらし」[/spoiler]を取ることができました。 これで全実績を取ることができました。 バグは相変わらず発生しています。 ** 2024/01/06 追記 ↑ ** ** 2024/02/12 追記↓ ** フラグ処理が修正されて上記のバグは発生しなくなりました。 全ルート・全文章を見ることができました！ 対応してくださった開発者の皆さん、ありがとうございます！ ** 2024/02/12 追記↑ **

This game has serious old school shojo vibes. The first couple of mysteries are very basic, but they get a decent amount less obvious as the game goes on, though never getting to true complicated brain teaser territory. I enjoyed the characters and the cases, though sometimes the villains' motives or treatment had a bit of a Case Closed vibe (as in why choose murder in that scenario? Why does anyone sympathize with that murderer? etc). Overall, I found this a fun romp!

Après Maid Attorney, Bird Attorney, Magic Attorney et bien d'autres jeux d'enquête qui marchent dans les traces de la légendaire série Phoenix Wright/Ace Attorney, voilà donc... Princess Attorney ? C'est une princesse weeb qui va au Japon pour devenir détective et, euh, voilà. Oui le pitch est un peu léger mais écoutez parfois l'inspiration n'est pas au rendez-vous et il faut faire avec. Bon globalement c'est agréable. Le cast de personnages récurrents manque d'excentricité, et le gimmick de "princesse détective à l'étranger" tient à peine debout mais le plus important reste les enquêtes. Les deux premières affaires ne sont pas folichonnes, et puis d'un coup le niveau remonte. Des twists bien trouvés et pas trop évidents, une affaire finale en grande pompe ; la seconde moitié du jeu est la partie la plus réussie. En terme de présentation les sprites et la musiques sont jolies, le reste fait un peu cheap. Pas de belles CGs ou de breakdowns animés, et les effets de caméra sont un poil trop enthousiastes. Il y a plein de bad ends à débloquer à chaque chapitre, je ne vois pas trop l'intérêt, à part sur la dernière affaire qui offre une version dramatique et une version plus "happy end" au contraste intéressant. Si vous êtes en manque de Phoenix Wright et que vous avez déjà fini Ghost Trick qui vient de ressortir un peu partout (si ce n'est pas le cas jetez-vous dessus c'est une pépite), je vous recommanderai d'abord Aviary Attorney qui a beaucoup plus de flair dans sa mise en scène, mais Himegimi Detective reste un bon divertissement qui vaut le coup d'être découvert. Ah par contre zappez les previews d'épisode suivant qui se lancent en fin de chapitre, elles en montrent beaucoup trop.

めちゃくちゃ手応えのある、難しい謎！　……というわけではありませんが、簡単すぎるわけでもなく、ほどよい難易度。すべてオーソドックスな推理で解決できます。全部のエンディングを出してみたのですが、BADエンドもさほど後味が悪くない点が好きです。

The case is pretty decent and quite challenging. This game doesn't have a clue book and you have to gather the clue by yourself. Still if you want to challenge yourself, this game is a good choice

The game sale crazily this autumn sale (90%!!!) so I got it right away. Just clear 1 episode and I clearly see it worth way more than what I had to pay so... what are you waiting for? Get it now!

少女漫画系の読み物としては、おススメします。丁寧に整えてあると思います。 推理物としてはオススメしません。 冷凍食品のコース料理を食べてる感じがします。 ・・・登場人物の反応が騒々しいので、なぜだろう、すこし疲れました。
