This is a very very ambitious and promising game with a clear vision and a brilliant concept, but it's still a bit rough and unpolished. However, devs are very active on Discord and committed to improving the game. I hold a lot of hope for this title and recommend it to any police simulation fans. The game includes a storyline with several missions, plus procedurally generated random callouts and world events to address when on patrol. When no call is coming in, you can still contact dispatch to ask to be assigned to some job. This is a phenomenal idea, which basically allows you to always have something to do. Your car is also equipped with several tools, including a speed radar, which also can be used as a gameplay in the quietest moments of your patrol. There is no shift system and you cannot select the time of day, but there's a pretty nice time cycle. The map is huge and very well crafted. Vehicle models and the flashing lights are beautiful. Overall the visual design is really evocative and immersive. I love the sunset and nighttime and the varied environments, from small towns to desert areas or thick forests. I enjoy roaming around in the patrol car just to absorb and explore all the various areas of the map. Contrary to what some other reviews say, the driving physics are actually excellent and feel very realistic. The major drawback here is the damage system, which is too sensitive. The slightest bump can destroy your car completely. This should be tweaked. Where the game is really shining is the procedural aspects of the police work: traffic stops and the processing of incidents in general is outstandingly realistic, with a thorough in-car computer system which includes the ability to check every vehicle in the police database and write your own reports for each incident. Amazing. The major weakness of the game is that it is still quite buggy despite some recent updates. Callouts don't always spawn correctly, cutscenes have many errors, and, most importantly, the AI traffic is quite a mess: cars don't move out of your way when you come through with the siren, and traffic tends to accumulate behind you, which means empty roads ahead, but massive traffic congestion behind you. These are all aspects that can be addressed in future patches, and although they can be really frustrating, I don't think they're enough to warrant a negative review. This game has vision, ambition and potential and players should be more patient with developers that are trying to do their best. With proper updates and some expansion (new callouts, more interiors etc), the game could become the best police simulator ever released. That said, the price point is still a bit high for such an unpolished game, and I would recommend buying it when on sale. Game graphics are ok, but not more than than. To much repetative missions with lack of content. The dialogs in the game are quite poor. The characters and their voices are very stiff. In general the game need much more content, details, fine tuning and a lot more variations. I hope you have the ambition to add all of this in a near future, so that the game will be fun to play :).
totally unplayable , good luck interacting with things , use f to interact and hold to drag but only taping to interact also acts like you are holding it to drag the item.
I like the concept of the game. I hate to say it but game has alot of bugs. One being when running lights and sirens the local cars will glitch out and flip over or run into you or fall out the sky. I had a recent one where the mission with the black grand crest wasn't showing the right direction so had to keep going back to the main menu. The game eventually locked up while I was trying to exit the game and had to restart my computer to get out of it , It wouldn't let me close it through task manager, eventually wouldn't let me load task manager. Over all it just needs work. Glitches, drop frames and the way it stutters like you have a high ping in a multiplayer online game was surprising. I was excited to play it when I seen they just updated it. I don't recommend this game at this time.
YOU CAN NOT TAKE A PICTURE WITHOUT A MOUSE AND YOU CAN NOT CHANGE IT TO THE OTHER KEY OTHER THEN A MOUSE
This Game IS very Realistic And Enjoyable
There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said a million times before. Game is easy to soft lock, driving is genuinely absolutely atrocious, and most mechanics are difficult to work with if not completely dysfunctional. Traffic behaves strangely, jarring wildly as they come into view like the game couldn't figure out what to do with them, the user's vehicles drive like they're on train tracks in an incredibly unnatural and moderately impossible-to control sort of way, and the ai is nonsensical often tripping over itself and getting stuck behind objects and other obstacles seemingly at random. Just generally unpleasant. The mostly negative review rating at the time of writing this is accurate. Especially at it's SHOCKING $30 price tag at the moment. YIKES.
Updated: Today, with the release of the SWAT DLC and the 1.1.0 update, I can confidently say the game is finally heading in the right direction. Yes, there are still occasional weird bugs and moments here and there, but the overall gameplay is seriously fun. The driving, graphics, and overall feel are spot on. I was getting tired of other police games that never evolved beyond the same old clunky gameplay, so this feels refreshing. I’m genuinely happy to see the developers continuing to polish and improve the game instead of abandoning it after launch. If they keep building on this foundation, this could easily become the go-to police simulator. If you’re into police sims, don’t hesitate to buy it — you probably won’t regret it. The game had a rough launch, sure, but I really think it deserves more credit now. A fresh perspective is needed because the improvements are very noticeable. ————————————- You can see that this game really does actually provide us with some missing elements and details we like, talking for the police sim community. However, I must say although the graphics and environments look amazing, gameplay is so not polished that it’s not fun or playable. This is like an Early Access title but I just don’t know if they will fix it or polish it ever -_-
