[i]Hidden Wings and Paws[/i] is a cozy, cute hidden object game developed and published by Snkl Studio. You're given a total of 10 locations around the world (a.k.a. levels), and in each location, there are 50 of a specific animal to find as well as 5 jewels and a cat that serves as an easter egg. In addition, clicking on certain items in a location might result in finding a secret hidden object item, such as musical instruments or flying vehicles. A hint function (in the form of a magnifying glass) is present if you have difficulty finding an animal or jewel, but after you use it, a little time is needed to recharge the function before it can be used again. You can play at your own pace since there is no timer, and even when you exit a level before you find all of the items, the game saves your progress, so you can return to it whenever you want. Of course, plenty of Steam achievements are present, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "Steam is learning about this game".
I enjoy a fun, relaxing hidden object game on occasion, and [i]Hidden Wings and Paws[/i] delivers on that, plus there are plenty of cute animals to find. The gameplay is very enjoyable, and it's even a little challenging at times. First, I like how there are 10 locations in various parts of the world, ranging from China to the Australian Outback. You can choose to play either in full screen or windowed mode although I would recommend playing in full screen mode since the objects might be quite small for the eyes and unfortunately, there is no zoom in or out function. I was able to find most of the items with relative ease, but I did have to use the hint function to find those elusive couple of items. The timer on the hint function is a positive since it discourages people from spamming it to find all of the items quickly. Also, I like that easter eggs are present in the locations, such as the cat and the musical instruments. Even though the cat item is a fairly obvious easter egg once you realize that it is, the other items may not be, unless you take a look at the Steam achievements. XD Speaking of achievements, I was able to obtain all of them without much trouble.
As for the art, it's in a simple style but enough details are shown in which you can view the buildings, animals, and such in the backgrounds. The colors are bright and vibrant but never to the point that it feels like it's too much. I like that animations are present, and I especially like that there are lots of different locations.

Regarding the music, the tracks are absolutely perfect for their respective locations. There's quite a variety, whether you're exploring the Egyptian pyramids and markets or diving under the sea to find Poseidon's trident. Instrumentals are used very well, and of course, you can adjust the music volume in the game's settings, so it can be as loud or soft as you wish.
Overall, would I recommend [i]Hidden Wings and Paws[/i]? If you're a hidden object fan, you especially enjoy looking for those cute, cuddly animals, and/or you want to get those Steam achievements, then this game is worth checking out. Even though you can play at your own pace, there is a bit of challenge in regards to using the hint function and finding those elusive easter eggs. For the asking price, I think that it's worth it, especially since there are multiple locations, so you'll probably invest a bit of time in the game. However, you can always wait for a sale, and it's in a Steam bundle, so you can save a bit if you already have the other game by the developer. ^^
