Hidden Through Time

Easily one of my favorite hidden objects game publishers. As much as I enjoy finding cats on any given day, I love finding various objects and I love the micro interactions such as poking a little sand pile and something plops out or it's empty. Their games run smoothly on steam deck and a stylus.

Very good hidden objects game. The base levels are very good. The DLC are all worth the purchase. And there is tons of additional online levels made by the community, with some amazing ones, even better than the ones from the game.

They often have the care to hide more than one similar item through the map so it throws you off a little, nothing is clumped together, there is space for everything and all items are spread around making you look everywhere instead of just behind, under or inside things. Each item tells you a story and, there is a nice, kinda funny mood to everything. The game looks simplistic before you buy but right after you open and start playing you see that it is made with a lot of love and care, all places are beautiful and each item has its own sound so no matter where you click there will be a sound. Not everything is historically accurate, especially in the beginning but you can tell they know history to a deeper level, it's just that for the game sometimes its good to let go and just be silly <3 I bought the pack with all the dlcs and it's still not enough content, the game is amazing, truly amazing.

Fun hidden object game, with an interesting art style and hints which strike the right balance between pointing you in the right direction without telling you exactly where an item is.
