Hidden Magic Town

It is really bad hidden object game where you have to find a whole lot of 32 things that are mostly very stupidly hidden. I am not even gonna waste any more words on it because it is not worth the time and it is most definitely not worth the money they ask for it as it takes less than 15 minutes to beat. Linux version works fine at least.

Sadly this game still has issues with functionality for the player. 1. The items are not clear in the Clue box on some occasions being a very dark image on the black background of the item to find box. 2. It is never clear how many of each item you are expected to find. 3. My game also suddenly became a black screen which could only be reset by using the positional drop down box. This also reset my coins. 4. The positional drop down box only ever centred the map and did not show you the closest player or item. 5. Most "hidden" objects are badly hidden or not really hidden at all just camouflaged by the background colours they reside upon. (A whole house is hardly a hidden object) All in all I would advise any gamer not to waste their money on what has to be the worst HOG ever to emerge. My advise to the Devs are to take a long look at the issues with this game and either patch it of make it free to play because it is certainly not in a state that gives any value for the cost.

The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you buy this asset flip? Is this better than any of the 110,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not! Hidden Magic Town has scam price of $200 USD, for which you could easily get any number of brand new AAA games. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. It's possible this price is either for the purpose of money laundering, or simply to prevent genuine reviews from reducing the fake "positive" review score from the fake reviews the developer paid for. Either way, this is unacceptable manipulation of the Steam store for profit. It's harmful to gamers and to genuine indie devs, because it gives indie devs a bad name. Hidden Magic Town — один из длинной цепочки полуголых ассетов по поиску предметов от хэдэраста. Суть: одна карта, тонны барахла которые надо найти по подсказке, ачивы судя по всему за нахождение конкретных предметов, но тыкать можно только то что выпало в списке. Для фарма ачив оно и годится не более, так-то это явно просто ассет. Отдельный прикол это ценник. Понятно что чувак скорее на бандл по скидке рассчитывает, но смешно, да. Ну и отдельный прикол, трэшак с одной простенькой двухмерной картой весит 10гб. Разраб мастер оптимизации, что сказать. Как итог: трэш трэшем. I would not have wasted the money on this. There are definitely much better hidden picture games for much cheaper. By the end of it, I just wanted it to be over.

Странная игра с таким ценником (если бы цену скинули в ~10 раз, то ещё можно подумать о покупке - т.е. за 10-15 рублей было бы норм). Почему "странная": задание "найти похожий объект", на картинке - дерево. При этом на карте 10ок деревьев, но оказывается (!) что нужно найти не дерево, а куст! Или найти кристалл - на карте с 10ок кристаллов, но "работает" только один, который еле виден (т.е. наверное, нужно было догадаться, что объект всё таки "спрятан", а не просто "похожий"). Такое ощущение, что ребята массово "клепают" Hidden игры при этом название игры, разработчик и издатель одинаковые (есть прям аналогичные игры - Hidden Town, Hidden Ghost Town, Hidden Water). Т.е. не заморачиваясь, посидев вечерок за рисованием хотят "срубить бабла". Рекомендую тем, кому деньги не куда девать, остальным - лучше поищите что-то другое. Получил игру бесплатно (выиграл на сайте раздач) и прям хорошо, т.к. теперь не куплю упомянутые выше Hidden игры (лежали уже в корзине).
