Hidden Deep is an underground ocean cave exploration game that looked interesting to me. I got it on sale, and I think that's the best way to get this game. Otherwise I don't think i'd really recommend it. would have to play more to get a better idea. Context: was playing on realistic mode so my 'review' may be skewered by the difficulty I chose to start with. Reached the 4th sector did not finish it yet. Pro: - The setting is the most interesting part of the game, Going into an underground ocean cave to find what horrors have caused the place to become what it is. - The tools and gadgets are cool and the uses for them: the tracking ball to map out the cave, hook gun cable, rope, yes even the rope as basic as it is, the terra scanner to look for weak spots in the ground to make a hole. - Gunplay is fun with shooting the horrors you find. - I like that on realistic, when you die it's just restart the entire mission. It's punishing without being brutal. Adds the right tension to dying...Although. Meh: - Did not like how you have to move the mouse FAR off the screen to have it zoom out. Would rather, when you aim, the screen follows your mouse. - Don't like the C4 being auto detonated once planted instead of manual. I was expecting to have control for ambush or clearing. Instead I am forced to rush out of the way of the explosion. - Don't like how the laser can go through solid objects, giving you misleading aim if you're not careful. - *The NPCs that you can control have the survival instincts of a dog chew toy, they won't defend themselves if under attack. *HOWEVER I might not have access to command yet so this may change in the future. - Look, I know I was playing on realistic, but those flies do so much damage taking 25% of your hp. Yet at the same time I did pick the hardest difficulty. So I feel mixed on it. Con: - Getting stuck in the ceiling and forced to die causing me to restart the entire level due to playing on realistic. I crashed out. - No option to 'Hold your aim', by that I mean just holding my right mouse button. The game has your aim set to a toggle. which is very awkward when I'm thinking of readying my weapon to shoot after reloading, only for my character to put away their weapon. - Can't run and switch weapons with number keys. If you hold shift to run and try to switch weapons, you'll switch to different characters if they're available. This has gotten me killed because the character in danger won't be able to defend themselves because I accidentally swapped to another. I personally should use the mouse wheel more. But still. - Your character will have trouble following your command like jumping and grabbing a ledge, deploying rope over a ledge, and some nitpicks like grabbing onto rope in a specific way. I've died from the character failing to do as I command to try and save them. - They're magazines not clips. Get it right. - I don't enjoy when the flies get into your sprite hitbox and you can't hit them. There are few other things I would have noted as a con, but they're in a grey area of "Is this how it is and should be? or is it actually bad?" I will need to play more and maybe with multiplayer to see how it plays out. But for now it's a bit of a tough recommend for me.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
