Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 11 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sick to death, very active. Reminds me a bit of that early VR game Holopoint, where you had to dodge arrows and shoot targets. Same sort of physical movement is required here, only this time, it's packaged in an action roguelike. Great gameplay, great visuals. I'm sad this hasn't caught on a bit harder! PCVR space is so slow nowadays... here's hoping to more success for this dope title
I'm a HUGE fan of Gesture based magic systems. This is the only game that finally manage to do sword wave that aim where you want it to go. and they also perfected the gesture system that is easy like playing fighting game. For example, UP and DOWN slash then Horizontal Slash to unleash a powerful slash. These kind of interactions are awesome. Now I unfortunately have to review on what's only available for now it's early access and that's like not even half of what the trailer shown. Right now, you only have one weapon and one spell, nothing can be changed, nothing can be upgraded. You have a wand that can be held in one hands and telekinetic/lighting force power in both hands. The wand can also be used as melee weapon but not as satisfying as other melee base game. (YET it's EA) The magic is perfect, I don't think there's much to be said. But melee, is almost perfect. Except the wand "sword" extension is uncontrollable. Imagine you have lightsaber but it suddenly ran out of battery mid fight, that's how it feel. Not only that on the topic of melee, the spear boss also have very huge hitbox for their spear. It's almost impossible to no damage melee them without stalling or use cheese techniques. Even if you parry, the spear just hit you anyway from the hurt animation. The graphic is also pretty good but you get tired of everything is black and red very quickly and everything look samey after a while. (which is again EA problem, the screenshot show much more than just black and red) Now for the bad stuffs I say the lack of sounds is one, you'll never know if that crossbow bolt (which is just a flame bullet for some reason) is behind your head or not without looking back. Or that huge sword is WHOOSHING behind your head or not. You'll never be able to notice what's behind your back with all music and stuff that's going on. The enemy indicator on the floor is also pretty... useless for this case, as you still have to look back to see the enemy anyway. Also time locked mission in a single player game? I don't really like that but ok. and the fact that you can't choose whatever mission you want after completing it is not ok. (slave to RNG) Oh... the cheese... the fun is all gone when you cheese in this game so DO NOT READ if you are looking to play properly. but dev read this now. - You can never die if you just jump in circle this literally break the entire game. You can beat every single thing by just jumping in circle and spam sword beam. - Spam sword on skeleton spear boss at their feet rapidly, the sword has no physic, you will keep parrying and hitting the boss forever until you reach a wall for infinite combo. - If you can't beat Monolith minions skeleton, just kill all of them except one last skeleton so that they don't spawn. (tbf Monolith boss is so unfair if you play without jumping so I think this cheese is acceptable) With that said I don't think jumping fit in this game at all. Everything else is physical (crouch, lean, etc) but jump is somehow a button press and is the most OP thing in the game. There should be a layer of arm swinging jump if you wanna keep the same bunny hopping jump. (so that at least you get physically tired from jumping in circle like a doom guy)

Unlike anything I've ever played in VR. The visuals are awesome and the combat is super fluid. Using force lightning to decapitate one demonic skeleton with the body of another will never get old. Kickass sound track too!
♥♥♥♥ is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ metal.
I wasn't sure exactly what to expect going into this game, and while it's not breaking any new ground, it is fun and provides a pretty good experience. This is essentially a game that combines Superhot with Until You Fall. The combat and setting are reminiscent of Until You Fall, although at this point during early access, with less weapons and choices, but with a time-slow mechanic like Superhot. As far as game quality, everything looks good and everything runs great on my system. If feels fairly polished, and I would say that for an early access game, it's already better than a lot of VR games out there that are considered to be completed. Nothing feels "janky," which is a big plus. That doesn't mean it doesn't have it's flaws. For one thing, the levels feel the same for the most part, just with different colors. In addition, the "background" environment is filled with skeletal bodies and other creatures that are just decoration and not actually enemies, and this can cause some confusion between what is an actual enemy and what is a background decoration. This may be intentional, though. But overall, this is a well made game and is definitely fun considering the early access. When more choices, weapons, and options are available, which I assume will be the case, this could turn out to be a pretty worthwhile game.
I don't have much experience in VR, I have played maybe 50 hours total. I do however recognize when a game is fun. HexWind seems excellent from what I've played. If you like feeling cool and you like beat-em-ups or slashers then you'll love this. The game is very very close to bug-free, only thing I noticed where some jank when trying to throw spell in a natural (but uncool) way, it seems like the game expects you to want to swing wide and stuff. Not really a problem Developers are super cool too, Buy the game! It's awesome, will play more definitively!!!
Note: I played the open beta on Quest 2, so my playtime is closer to about 2 hours. Remember the end of Half Life 2 where you get the upgraded gravity gun, and you spend 10 minutes flinging combine soldiers into lasers? HexWind gives you that power, a light saber, and the time dilation from SUPERHOT in the first five minutes, then asks you to kill a horde of demonic skeletons. The game is still in early access, so there's a number of rough corners, particularly with some of the UI interactions, but the sword combat is fun. Deflecting projectiles at demonic skeletons is fun. Learning that I can do Quake bunny hopping and proceeding to dance around enemies for 10 minutes is fun. It's still very early, but HexWind is some of the most fun I've had with VR combat in a long time. Sword + Gravity Gun + slow motion = fun.
Super fun so far! The enemies are genuinely spooky, especially when they sneak up behind you. Combat is very fluid and the spellcasting is unique and satisfying. Once some more content gets put in I can see myself sinking some serious hours into the game
Full disclosure: Was given a creator key. Although there are a few bugs here and there, the overall product is a blast. It's got a simple but fun loop and the combat/action is top notch. They make great use of common VR mechanics like slowing down time unless you move.
