About
Lead a growing line of heroes through fast-paced roguelike runs inspired by Nimble Quest. You control your hero squad like a living snake, slashing through enemies, collecting coins, and chasing the top of the global leaderboard.
Choose one hero to start your run. Each levelup you’ll recruit one of three new followers, adding them to your tail. Every hero fights automatically with unique attacks and powerful abilities. Mixing different heroes unlocks class set bonuses: Holy improves stuns, Tech spawns more powerups, Soldier increases damage, and many more.
Defeat enemies across different themed biomes — Forest, Castle, Volcano and Ice — each filled with distinct foes and challenges. Between waves, pick one of three upgrades such as extra HP, movement speed, or bonus melee, ranged, or magic damage. Gather coins to purchase permanent upgrades that strengthen all future runs.
Climb the leaderboard, experiment with hero synergies, and build the most unstoppable tail of champions you can imagine. One wrong move, and your whole line falls, so every decision and recruit matters.

Ōk I'm going to recommend this purely because I genuinely believe in the devs potential to deliver other games. This one is a 5.1/10. Overall I'm more positive about it than negative for these reasons. 1. It's free. 2. Unlockable heroes are very easy and quick to obtain so you don't have to dump a lot of time into it. 3. The graphics are simple and very easy to look at. 4. Controls are quick to pick up. 5. Gameplay loop is enjoyable. Now the negative, and these are big negatives. 1. First and most importantly, putting the cleric behind a paid DLC is honestly disgusting. If you want to do a free game with optional DLC to support the dev that's fine, but putting the only truly required hero for high quality team compisition behind a day 1 DLC is bordering on scummy. We know you're better than this as we've seen your other games, I hope this was a silly oversight and not intentional because wow. 2. There's not a huge amount of content beyond beating the game once. There are challenges but they're all one offs and easy. 3. For some reason my PCs fan goes berserk when playing this game.

It's a lovely little game, basically an enhanced version of oldschool snake. Sadly it came out at the same time as the path of exile update, and now people are sadly stuck playing a garbage game like PoE instead of this masterpiece. It's a shame. This game here provides more value and fun, and is on top of that even more challenging.
Only tried since I knew the artist most of the player models come from and wanted to see what it was about. Its a good thing its free since this isn't worth money. It just barely meets quality of a 48hr game jam not a fool released game.
HeroTail: Survivors pros: //modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on cons: //extremely high CPU resource usage that might damage your system regardless of ingame settings //sucks extra notes: //dungeon fighting using heroes in a caterpillar formation which is slow and somewhat difficult
Herotail Survivors feels like the rediscovery of a forgotten game formular. A type of game that was long lost and now returning in a modern coat of paint. Furthermore, this well-crafted, highly replayable game is free to play. Kudos to the developer.
过的去,免费,也不用纠结啥。 成就也需要中文。Ach need cn too.
Bon petit jeu ! J’aimerais plus de défis et de succès, même cachés. Il m’est arrivé de piquer du nez lors de runs. Mon max a été trois ou quatre runs d’affilée. Dans l’attente de mises à jour !
Fun little game for a quick session.
nice game!
