Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's an interesting concept, having to search through a database to watch interview clips out of order and trying to figure out the story. The problem is that you don't really do anything with the information once you get it. Nothing happens at the end of the game, even if you manage to watch all the clips. You don't prove anyone's innocence/guilt, no one is arrested, there's no justice being served. You're only doing this for the sake of your own curiosity, and I guess maybe for the "closure" of the person you technically play as, but even from that perspective, nothing really happens. So unless you really want to hear the story, there's no incentive to do any of this, and even then, it's not even satisfying if you do manage to find all the clips. Hell, you don't even need to watch all the clips to get to the credits. It also doesn't help that the whole process is very tedious. I did say the idea of searching through clips to piece together the story was interesting, but the way they went about doing it for this game was just kinda annoying. You search for words and it'll give you clips where they're mentioned, and at first it's fine, but as you play through the game, you'll most likely find the same clips you've already watched pop up in your search results, so it won't be long before you just try random words as you desperately try to find a new clip and make some kind of progress. Also, when you start the game, you can only watch through 5 clips at a time. If a search yielded more than 5 results, you'll only be to watch the 1st 5 and you won't be able to scroll through to watch the rest. There is a way to unlock full access to the database and therefore be able to scroll through up to 15 results per search, but if I remember correctly, you only gain the ability to do so after you log off, get the credits, log back into the game, and then type in a command in the search bar, but there's nothing in the game itself that would let you know that you can do that; I had to look it up after I first "finished" the game. So yeah, an interesting concept that was poorly executed and led to an unsatisfactory ending; a nothing of an ending. The story itself in my opinion isn't worth spending the money to buy it and going through all the trouble of trying to find all the clips. If you *really* want to watch the full story, just look it up on YouTube or something.

A fun concept, a detective game/movie-clips, that is better played in 1 session to finish it, takes between 2-3 hours to understand well what is going on and unlock most of the important parts. Recommended especially when it's very cheap on sale.
For what it is, it's great. I think Seifert's performance was delightful and kept me interested for the almost 5 hours I spent playing. I don't really get how people are upset by this and saying it's barely a game; it's basically a visual novel. I bought this on sale and think that is a better price than what it is usually listed for, though. If you appreciate a little mystery, check it out! I had fun. :]
This game should not be advertised as for Mac. It does not work on Mac.
Have plenty of FMV cutscenes. Might be interesting if you dive into this category of interactive games. Mostly it's about watching though.

“You have no murder weapon. You have nothing. And all these stories we’ve been telling each other… Just that...stories.” 7.5/10
Getting into this game was a challenge for me at first. After finding out there's no more gameplay other than searching a computer for the clips, I felt a bit put off. It felt lazy, I was just supposed to watch some clips, piece together a story myself then leave? Regardless, out of spite of the 10 dollars I spent, I kept playing. I couldn't be more thankful I did. This game will drop bombshell after bombshell, constantly throwing you off of whatever you think could be going on. Not enough so that you lose the plot, you have plenty of time to understand the general story, but then questions emerge, questions you can't answer. You keep looking, finding out more and more about this woman on the screen, about what she's been through, about the crime at hand, and at the end, when the curtain is finally lifted, you find yourself still not fully satisfied. Still with some questions. Normally this is a bad thing, but this game executes it so perfectly, I frankly couldn't even be upset. Bottom line, if I ever get dementia, tell me to play this game again. 10/10.
👍
No idea where and why I got this game, probably in some bundle that I bought ages ago. Only reason to "play" this was to get 100% achievements in it, thanks to guide in the community hub for that, otherwise this would have been just one of the most confusing experiences ever. Should have known to hate this kind of game, but I forced myself into this. Basically you watch +250 video clips and that's it.
