Being a bumbling supervillain's henchman is a thankless job. The spandex chafes, there's tons of late nights, and your boss rarely remembers your name. But in this narrative adventure you'll soon discover that - sometimes - even the choices of the lowliest henchman can change everything.

This game is honestly really really good. The music fits the game rather well and the humor of this game hits close to home for me as it left me cackling more than once.
Enjoyed the game.
Just buy it, play it, write a positive review like me.
This is a great story with great characters like Kate, Madam Scorpion and Stan. I recommend playing this game just for the characters. I feel lucky just to have played this visual novel. I know it's a lot of work, but I really hope this developer makes another game or visual novel; I would play it in a heart beat, because Henchman Story is fantastic.
This is what I mean when I say I'm gooning.
Honestly, I don't write reviews very often, but I have to make an exception for this game. I honestly believe that this is one of the best visual novels I have ever played in recent years. The voice acting, artwork, and music were fantastically woven together to keep pulling me back to this game to finish my first playthrough. Which took a little under 8 hours. I found myself constantly thinking about what was going to happen next while doing tasks around the house. Even though I figured out some twists early, it did not hinder my experience at all. In all honesty, it might have even improved it since I kept looking and wondering how things would develop around my theories. In all honesty, I wish I had paid full price for the game rather than on sale, since I believe these developers deserve it. However, I am glad I saw this and snagged it when I did, and will suggest this game to others; it may even be a gift to a few this year for the holidays. Anyways. 10/10 experience, but I am off to go do my second playthrough right away to discover what else is possibly in store for “Stan the Man”.
Yes, WeHench!
Good story and a lot of interesting choices to choose from
This was very enjoyable. The voice acting is top notch, and it did get a good few laugh out loud -moments from me (thank you, Lord Bedlam). However, I was little disappointed about how easy it is to get good endings - especially if you choose to go the villainous route.
I tried to be incompetent so hard and see if the main villain would make any good on her threats, but no dice. The worst you can get unless you actively betray your boss is "Henchman of the Year".
But, as the whole atmosphere is more reminiscent of the 1960s Batman series rather than the Nolanverse, I really don't hold the lack of blood and guts and edge against Henchman Story. If you like campy supervillains, sass, and powerful women who can and will punch you, I think you'll enjoy this game. [strike]However, I would not mind a DLC where you get to date Lord Bedlam or Dave...[/strike]
Great game with a captivating story with multiple endings and story beats, and playthrough will take about 4ish hours. I really liked the comic book design, At the start it had venture bros vibes which is something i would like to see in a game someday, but it showed itself as something unique. Final Review Don't sell the IP to Disney p.s. Its Agent Stan
