Helltown

A bit disappointing, but solid short horror experience. Starts interesting, but falls apart midway through pretty quickly. Felt like a lot of ideas were introduced but none of them didn't get explored deep enough for them to hook me up. At one point i just stopped caring about this mishmash of unexplored ideas. The gameplay is fine. Walk, look for stuff and npc, interact, run and hide. It can be confusing, but not it's not that bad. The worst part about multiple endings is that you have to replay the game from the start or load the most recent save, which means if you didn't find all the necessary collectibles or went the wrong way, you're locked out of the ending you wanted oops, better start all over again. The enemies are very easy to outrun, the stamina is plenty and regenerates fairly fast, which is, like, okay, i guess. The game is very short. which is unfortunate, but at least it's not a slog.

really cool story and awesome atmosphere. i was able to launch a man into the stratosphere with a garbage can in the first part of the game. 10/10

Neutral review It's great in aesthetic but if you plan on going for all endings it's strong when it comes to repetition and not really in a way where you notice much more each time so at some point it's like sure a different ending but doing all the stuff between over and over with no real shortcuts between it all? Not so pleasant, I gave this game patience but eventually I just lost the desire to try 100 % this despite wanting to push through it

screw you for adding achievements after I already finished the game. Mate noticed and forced me to play so he could watch me scream my head off 10/10

Впервые увидел данную игру у Куплинова в видосе, и черт подери она меня зацепила. Прошло время, я нашел её и прошел 1 раз на стандартную концовку (ещё старую версию). Спустя время хотел вернуться и добить её на все концовки, но тут увидел что разработчики готовят большое обновление. Так называемый ревайвл. Дождавшись его, я уже полностью окунулся в историю этого маленького городка. И что я могу сказать... Мне понравилось. Классная атмосфера и интересная история. По сравнению со старой версией, история стала гораздо яснее. Однако после концовок не хватает послесловия какого-то [spoiler](за исключением побега во второй главе)[/spoiler], как было в старой версии после первой концовки, [spoiler]где из разговора полицейского и детектива узнается что случилось с городком и его жителями.[/spoiler] В любом случае любителям инди хорроров и всякой оккультной всячины рекомендую!

그래도 인디 게임이니까 환불은 안했습니다만은...좀 더 뭘 보여줄지에 대해 고민하셨으면 좋겠어요. 퀄리티는 그럭저럭 나쁘지 않아요. 엔딩 직전까지도 볼만은 했습니다만은... 그래도 기본은 되었다 생각이 들면 추천하려 했습니다. 하지만 스토리가 중요한 게임에서 엔딩이 그 전에 깔아둔 분위기를 다 죽여버리니까 작품의 의미가 없어요. 엔딩 하나만 보면 내용을 알기 힘든, 다회차를 권하는 작품입니다. 그런데 똑같은 퍼즐, 똑같은 행동을 해야 하는 건 곤욕입니다. 스킵을 하거나 챕터별로 나눴으면 좋았을 거 같아요. 거기다가 수집 요소라니...욕심이 너무 많았어요. 추천이냐, 비추천이냐 한참 고민하다가 비추천을 눌렀습니다. 단점을 가릴만한 참신함이나 재미가 있다고 말하기 어려워요. 생각보다 많은 중요한 부분이 대사로 퉁 치고 넘어갔습니다. 다음작품은 연출에 좀 더 공이 들어갔으면 좋겠고, 작품 분위기에 일관성이 있으면 좋겠습니다.
