A thrilling singleplayer space shooter that blends weird fiction, dark gritty sci-fi, and transhumanism. Fly your spaceship and fight your way through a galaxy where your mind is at risk just as much as your "body": nothing here is human. Not even you.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Hell Galaxy is a thrilling singleplayer space shooter that blends weird fiction, dark gritty sci-fi, and transhumanism into a unique gaming experience. Take control of a raider — an ex-convict turned bio-ship hybrid — and carve out your place in the dangerous Galaxy of Neterun, where you have been exiled for eternity.
Accused of murder and stripped of your human body, you awaken as something new: a consciousness fused into the metal shell of a bio-ship. Flesh and bone are a memory — what's left of you now lives in the hull, the modules, the guns you bolt onto yourself. In Neterun there is no going back to human, only forward, into whatever deadlier thing you choose to become. Rise above rival raiders and uncover the secrets buried in ancient Neterunian ruins.
Every encounter in Neterun is a fight on two fronts: your hull can be torn apart, but so can your mind. Shift your focus between balanced, aggressive, and defensive states and adapt on the fly to what's hunting you — the ghostly creatures of this galaxy threaten your sanity as much as your armor. Read each enemy, reconfigure your build, and choose which part of yourself you're willing to risk: the ship that keeps you alive, or the mind that keeps you you.
Your survival depends on a fully customizable ship. Gather resources and install modules, starting from your cockpit, to reshape yourself into an ever-deadlier raider.
Experiment with countlessc ombinations and adapt to the dangers of exile — no two raiders have to be built the same way.
Explore a visually stunning galaxy rich with forgotten lore, shadowy ruins, and hostile creatures that threaten both body and mind. Encounter rival raiders, uncover the stories of other exiles, and piece together a world where humanity is only a distant memory.

A very engaging title that feels both familiar and fresh. The controls are immediately intuitive on keyboard, following the classic patterns of the genre without ever feeling clunky. From the very first minutes, the mix of dark and sci‑fi atmosphere, paired with an intriguing plot, seems to work fine. The ability to upgrade your spaceship and experiment with a wide variety of modules adds a lot of depth and personalization to the experience. I also appreciate the clean UI and, most of all, the sound design—drifting through space truly gives that eerie, lonely feeling of being lost in the vastness of the universe. The biggest drawback so far is the optimization. Even on the lowest settings, the game struggles to run smoothly. Still, the core of the gameplay is strong, and with a few performance improvements this will easily become a must‑play recommendation.
The Base Idea is good, it remembers me Forsaken or Descent. Videogames Market really miss a space shooter. Controls needs to be tweeked with something more reactive, I didn't try with a joypad but with M/K is more difficult to move around than combat enemies. UI is a bit Confusing. Needs heavy reworked on performance, on a RTX 3060 barely reached 40 FPS on low settings. Whaiting for final relase to see the result.
This game delivers a unique blend of space combat action, horror atmosphere, and RPG elements, with very good looking visuals, immersive sound design and engaging story, offering a game experience that stands out among indie space sims. The ability to switch smoothly between cockpit and third-person views, dynamic exploration and a deep customization system for ships and weapons make gameplay truly enjoyable. However, there are technical areas that still need improvement for a fully enjoyable experience, performances among everything. By improving optimization, which is the only real obstacle to the game being truly appreciated, I believe Hell Galaxy can offer many hours of fun even to players less experienced with this genre of games.
As many others have pointed out this game's biggest problem is it's optimization, but you really can see how once that gets fixed (EA justifies it imo) there's a game with great potential both from a gameplay perspective and an immersive experience perspective. While the use of AI for the voiceover might be controversial to some (I haven't confirmed it to be AI or not, it's just my impression. Kudos to the VA if not) I think it was actually fitting since the voiceover for the two instructors needs to feel eerie and inhuman. I liked the introduction cinematic, and I think the setting has huge potential. I'll wait for more updates!
The atmosphere is the best aspect of this game: from the soundtrack to the spaceship design, everything oozes space horror. The story is intriguing, and the lore is both cool and seemingly deep. The style of the starships, with their distinct "Mad Max meets Dead Space" vibe, feels original, and the customization aspect is fun. Dogfights are enjoyable and cinematic, and I hope they can evolve in the future with more weapons and enemy types. At the moment, their main issue is that they tend to drag on a little too long, both against minor foes and more significant ones. Still, that’s nothing that can’t be fixed with some balance adjustments. Overall, the game is definitely recommended, especially for those who enjoy arcade combat, spaceship customization, and immersing themselves in a dark, crumbling galaxy. Just keep in mind that the game is still in Early Access.
The EA version of this game was great and had me ready for release of 1.0 To my dismay the menu seemed bugged and I mentioned this in a discussion along with some others that had the same issue. I either could not click or use the controller to get the options to toggle on or off (changing inversion for movement for example). I waited to see if this was going to get fixed. Came back after 2 weeks and still nothing. Very disappointed and will happily change it if the dev. can take care of the issue. For now such a basic thing is going to make this a no for me.
