If you want to see more reviews like this, follow me as a curator: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34792193/ Heiduntum is the first game created by a new developer, Kirchesch. The game has potential and can definitely grow. Being a strategy game, Heiduntum has an average concept. Heiduntum should have been put in Early Access as most of the game's mechanics are not faultless. If you do not mind the occasional spelling mistake, Heiduntum can be a fascinating game. The tutorial is mildly confusing for a new player, not only because of the spelling mistakes but also due to the outlandish controls. The game has little to no soundtrack, however, the graphics are suitable. The game has a different graphic for the mouse which is massive and takes up too much of the screen. There is online play and singleplayer, with global standings. You can play with up to three other players with completely randomized environments every time. The game features different types of units to attack your enemies with, the difference between them, I have not yet figured out. The game seems generic and quite honestly, boring. There is no incentive for me to continue playing. The paganism aspect is interesting, however, this is just another multiplayer tower defense game. Overall, Heidentum is an interesting game, the game is definitely not worth playing in its current state. The graphics are fanciable and are definitely fitting, however, they have nothing special about them. If this game was put in Early Access, beta or was free, I'd recommend playing, otherwise, don't bother.

This is one of the worst RTS that I ever played. Nothing looks better than an early prototype (a bad one), the UI is full of typos, sounds are missing... what a waste of time for the dev and the users.
Jogo que me deixou estressado Kkkkkk
Heidentum, Paganizminizi seçeceğiniz ve düşmanlarınız yenilene kadar onun için savaşacağınız çok oyunculu bir strateji oyunudur.
Before I played Heidentum, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good

Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no available servers and no player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
"Heidentum" is a pretty clunky mess, a badly done half baked attempt to make a PVP RTS game (yes, there's no players) that's definitely unpolished and incomplete, despite not being in Early Access. What do you do in the game? Wrestle with the godawful UI and then uninstall it because there's no players. You will not get any kind of meaningful RTS experience here. The focus of the game is pure PvP, there's no single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the game. The vast majority of PvP-only games fail because they don't go "viral", and without players, or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable subsitute for adding content to a game. This carries the usual important message that some developers simply don't understand. PvP, other players, are not an acceptable substitute for doing the most important part of your job and adding content to video games. Other players are not the same thing as content. Without single player content to hook players into the PvP mode, it's a pure gamble that your horse will win a race against hundreds of other, bigger, faster horses already running. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. And given this is a 4 player online game, it means it NEVER got played with a full server! Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
