GREAT GAME! its amazing rts concept.. like turned total war into an rts game.. i got the first hegemony and loving this roman theme aswell...
It is a good concept of Grand Strategy and RTS. If you like Caesar, especially the thought of managing his Gallic Campaign, this is a must play.

This game places you on a somewhat large map. The first mission in campaign has you walk to a city. This takes probably two minutes aka 2 minutes of you doing nothing but waiting. Then you get a legion of soldiers and have to kill another legion that's a stone's throw away. Still takes 30 seconds to reach them then another minute or two to kill them. Then you have to walk to another city that's really far away. I never made it. In between the minutes of walking I spent a minute overtaking a mine that did who knows what. Then I found a city that swallowed all my people except one. Later I found some kind of green bar was slowly draining over the city, like a health bar being depleted (this took a few minutes). Don't know what that did. Then I figured out how to get my people out of there, then attacked a nearby settlement. My legion was killed, but the game said don't worry, they can respawn back at the first city. Oh good, I was really hoping to walk that path again. Meanwhile my only guy who didn't get caught up in the big city life still hasn't reached that other city, which is my next objective. What the... You'll also find yourself zooming in and out with the camera and spinning it around constantly to try to see anything, as you mostly traverse through valleys, thus mountains block your view. And if you want your guys to move only a little bit, it's near impossible because unless you click directly on the tiny path sandwiched in between mountains, it says that's impossible to do. Well game, you're impossibly boring and bad. What do you think about that?
Get from another launcher, Steam's monopoly on PC gaming is not good for consumers, the Steam forums are absolute trash, filled with fanbois, and Steam employees with alts getting people banned.........
