One of the first games I ever played, and still fun to this day
This game is bad ass
people say popcap make casual games, but this is just bullet hell
One of the classic PopCap Games. It is still fun and challenging to play
a classic game of blowing the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of enemy air forces and sometimes ground forces and also that moustache guy in his ufo or whatever that was also play with a controller if you can because the mouse controls both aiming and movement which is maybe the worst thing ever of all time when there are ground enemies that will groove in from one side of the screen and one tap you if you even slightly touch them
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ Heavy Weapon Deluxe ★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ Summary - A shoot'em up that will have you feeling that American pride. The skies are showered with bombs and communist invaders and it's up to you to counter and bring freedom to the military continent. Ride Atomic Tank, you are our only hope. I realize just how crazy it feels to have this game come from PopCap of all teams. __The Gameplay (★★★☆☆) __ Every level has a select set of waves the game randomly chooses, and if you can mark them down they are fun to practice and improve in. The Atomic Tank is allowed one upgrade per level (you have to upgrade before proceeding), allowing you to customize just what you desire for all your commie killing needs (I can't believe those words would ever come out of my head). There's a ton of enemy variety and the waves can get pretty difficult to react in. If you can't get enough levels and upgrades, there is a survival mode that goes on forever to test your true skill as an Ultimate Tanker. The major problem I see people talking about is the fact you can only control with mouse. Your distance between you and the cursor affects speed, strength, and control. I personally find it satisfying to get the hang of. __The Atmosphere (★★★★☆) __ I love how everything is themed after military weaponry and tanks. The levels all being quite unique (one is just Russia lmao). I enjoyed whenever you used a nuke, it would affect some of the features in the background. Like dang, I just killed a ton of innocent citizens. later levels can get quite chaotic with bombs showering the skies like a dense pattern in a bullet hell, luckily you have the power to counter with your own storm of bullets and missiles. __Over all Rating (7/10)__ This game is silly and chaotic in a great way and survival mode has so much replay ability. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a silly horizontal shoot'em up with a vast enemy variety.

Fantastic game. After getting used to the control of the game it's very fun and challenging. The game does a good job at allowing you to enjoy the game and get better at it at the same time. It's very quick, exciting, and each level gives you a unique enemy to watch out for and understand how they plan to attack you. The console versions of this game are still better though. Multiplayer and better controls were really cool to have back in the PS3 days. This version is still really good though. Once you get used to the mouse control, that is.
