About

It’s 1981, and the dream of a new home in space for all humanity is dead. After fighting for decades against an intangible and ephemeral existential threat from beyond the solar system, Earth command has declared the war effort a huge waste of time. The honeymoon is over, and a future of glittering cities across the solar system and cosmic battles between giant robots just isn’t going to happen. The outcome is clear: it’s time to come home.
But we don’t care. Giant robots may not make any sense. Celestial cities across the solar system are silly dreams. They are, however, extremely awesome. We, the girls who were raised in space, to be special and incredible and pave the way for a new future, aren’t giving up so easily. We’ve got invincible Ship-Selves for ferrying human bodies through time and space, and we have the weight and power to make a fantasy of the future real.
We’re not going out without a fight.

Heaven Will Be Mine is a queer science fiction mecha visual novel from the creators of queer cult horror visual novel We Know The Devil, about joyriding mecha, kissing your enemies, and fighting gravity’s pull. Follow three women piloting giant robots in the last days of an alternate 1980s space program fighting for humanity’s future—or ditching their jobs to make out with each other instead.
Experience the story from the perspective of three pilots bound by fate and gravity: veteran ace Luna-Terra, overwhelming super psychic Pluto, and hacker-hijacker Saturn as they fight across three different factions in an eight day war. Your choices decide if they become clandestine lovers or passionate rivals, and which faction’s ultimate plan for humanity’s fate in space and beyond will be realized. Win for your ideals or lose for love, and grasp heaven in your hands.
Co-Creators Aevee Bee, Founder of Mammonmachine: ZEAL and critic of games by and for weirdos, and illustrator & cartoonist Mia Schwartz reprise their roles as writer and artist respectively, Alec Lambert (We Know The Devil) returns with a surreal and cosmic soundtrack of lo-fi, deep tech electronics and Christopher Simon joins the team with gorgeous retro UI aesthetics. Developed in collaboration with Pillow Fight.

Multiple Playable Protagonists: Watch the narrative unfold from the perspective of one of the three main characters.
A Battle For The Fate Of Space: Your choices determine which of three factions will emerge victorious and determine the fate of space—but if you just pick based on who you wanna kiss, we won’t get mad.
A Rich World To Explore: Look through chat logs and emails to understand the rise and fall of the space program, and the end of their many dreams.
For mature audiences. Features fantasy violence, body horror and discussion of sexuality, abuse and trauma.

a queer space commune of mechas sounds good, actually. the music is amazing, feels so otherwordly, and the cgs are rough yet show intimacy in the most personal moments between the characters (or well, their mechas...
which are also their own bodies...
yeah, tender moments inbetween fight-pretend and remembering times where everything felt so much simpler and they weren't put against each other) the presentation of "lore" of the different factions through emails and character interactions though chats is super interesting, you get to know more about the world itself but you can also accidentally miss it if you just continue though the VN segments. beware ye who doesnt like alternation between highly metaphorical speech, scientific talk, and group chat slang. you dont have to read those to progress the game, but they DO give context and more development to characters that isn't shown in the VN segments. the narration is metaphorical and abstract, while the dialogue is direct and the alternation between them may seem jarring. that is the point!!
emotions that are difficult to put into words are instead represented as a stream of consciousness that is shared between wlw space pilots while they "fight" with their planet-sized robot toys while trying to do what's right, even if they don't even know what that means!! they don't know how to communicate, they don't know how to act, they just follow orders. they're rejected broken girls who ended where they are because they were "special", more a curse than a compliment, and from then on they've tried to prove their worth even if it only breaks them further!!
i havent played all routes yet, but the CM and CG endings were beautiful. while not "good endings", they show more hope and joy that a typical good ending would. ♥♥♥♥ i love queer games. if you've played WKTD, please give this game a try. and if you like evangelion, do it too. i love you so much pluto <3 edit several days later: so i just got the easter egg ending.
i really didnt expect the game to just LET THE PLAYER choose the ending they wanted. i thought the easter egg ending would be a different ending where something different, anything happens. but no, you get a segment where you're prompted to choose one of three endings, whichever you want. and my god. there actually is no good or bad ending. whether an ending is "good" or "bad" depends entirely on your feelings about it, and if you get an ending you don't like you can play again and get one you think is better. it's not about the ending itself, it's about making the best of it or looking for a different one if you're not satisfied.
this is one of those stories that stick with you and i really cant put into words what this game made me feel. it's beautiful, it's gay, it's hopeful, it's bittersweet, it's crushing, it's gonna be part of my personality from now on lol o7
I think it's very dense in its worldbuilding, sometimes bordering on the territory of becoming incomprehensible sci-fi gibberish. However behind this somewhat pretentious facade there's a tale of bonds, closeness and identity, with a generous amount of sweetness and candidity that greatly overshadows it's apparent cold technicity.
This is excellent. Some of the weirdest, borderline illegible but at the same time most inspired writing I've read in the genre. I especially enjoyed the triple protagonist plot structure, the replays felt unique and rewarding and all the alternative endings and paths offered weird, cute or cool new stuff.
trans mecha space lesbians :>
this game hurts (in a yuri way) it's not for everyone but if you're a transbian and/or into mecha then give it a play
im bored lets detonate our reactors
oh waiter one gay poetic space novel please
I bought this quite a while back, and never really got around to booting it up. Then, while thinking of what to stream for my Discord friend group of weird, kinda gay people, I went "hey, aggressively lesbian sci-fi VN, they'll love that" and they sure did. So did I. Finished my first run in a single sitting, albeit a long sitting. I definitely want to see what's up with the other protagonists now, because at multiple points in a route that wasn't even theirs, both other girls dropped some lines that resonated hard with me (and others). You can really tell the writers are familiar with the kind of ♥♥♥♥ so many of us go through. And by "us," I don't just mean the aforementioned "kinda gay" people. I mean anyone who's ever felt like they just don't quite mesh with people around them, aren't very understood. This is a story all about that, and the ways people cope with it (good and bad, and bad, and also bad). It's fantastic.
