This game is so amazingly written. I was hooked from the start and just wanted to keep going, to learn more about each character and how they interact (so adorable). My gay lil' heart couldn't cope with the ending, well the one i got anyway, I was on that last decision for ages. It may be short but it's definitely worth it in my eyes.
this game honestly is a gut wrenching to say the least, the game makes a daamn good job on actually caring for them both 10/10 money well spent
i can't do this i'm so indecisive wtf

非常好的故事,但是好像没有完全圆满的结局,好痛Y.Y
Heartstop is a short and simple game about Cora, a young woman who wakes up in a world where every other living being is frozen in time without explanation. She encounters Molie who is also unaffected. Together, they slowly get to know each other while trying to uncover the events that led to this worldwide freeze and how they can undo it. The game lives or dies by its writing, which I was really fond of. The way the dialogue is delivered and the choices you make keep you invested in the story and characters. The impressive number of different endings, none being the true one but rather a natural conclusion to your journey, makes Heartstop all the more memorable. It is a hidden gem, made of pure emotions, and one I couldn't recommend enough.
The game kept me invested until the end. 10/10
What do you do when you wake up one morning and the world, or the people around you, are frozen? This is exactly the question, that you are confronted with, at the beginning of Heartstop. First and foremost, you try to survive as long as possible. But how do you react, when one day a living person suddenly stands in front of you among all the frozen people? Together with Molly, this mysterious girl, you try to understand the cause of this catastrophe and stumble upon one or the other shocking secret. The relationship you build with Molly depends upon yourself. Many of the decisions you make have an actual impact on the course of action. But no matter what decisions you make... The relationship with Molly is likely unique. At certain points it is tense, but the next moment it can also be warm and absolutely sweet or romantic. Despite the serious situation in which the two girls find themselves, I found Molly's unexpectedly cheeky humor very refreshing. The ending, of which there are several, conjured up a satisfied smile on my face and a tear or two in my eyes. :*) At least with the ending, that I got.
Absolutely a fantastic game! To put it briefly, if you have played the To The Moon series and enjoyed them, then go ahead and get this game. If you liked To The Moon, you will like this. What we have here is a good example of what RPG Maker can do for a story-telling centered game. The world has frozen and you're the only person left moving....or are you? Dive into the mystery of what happened, build a bond (or don't), and experience multiple endings based on your actions and decisions. The way the characters reference prior events is really well done here...it honestly makes me wonder how certain situations would play out if I had picked a different option three or four chapters earlier. I honestly wish there was a chapter select, although the game really isn't that long. Although the storyline (from what I can tell) is mostly linear, this high level of variety ensures that you actually COULD replay this game just to see the effects of your various choices. The music and writing is great here. There is some nudity (mostly pixel nudity, but at least one instance that I recall that is based on their portraits). If you want a (potential) love story with a sci-fi mystery twist to it, then you're in the right place! I have already wishlisted the Dev's other games (one currently out and the other in development) and look forward to seeing more!
Got this game while just browsing LGBTQ+ games and honestly i'm glad i did! It's very very underrated and I wish this game gets more players at some point! The story is very intresting and unique in a way that i think many people would enjoy! Would recommend to anyone who's curious about the game!!<3
Very sweet game and very melancholy. I greatly enjoyed the dialogue, especially in the little moments.
