Heartstop

Super cute! Love games I can finish in a day or two that feature character-driven stories.

This is now my favourite story-driven game. The story is very well written and I love the characters. The completionist in me wants to get all the achievements but after I got the ending [spoiler] A New Life, after an attempt to sacrifice myself for Mollie [/spoiler] on my first playthrough, I can't do it, my poor touch starved gay heart can't handle it. I had a very hard time making the final choice, just thinking about the outcomes made me cry, finally choosing and seeing the ending made me cry even more. 10/10

Alright, so I'm not the best person to write reviews, mostly because my vocabulary is limited ( to say the least ) and I have no idea how to explain myself further than "game good," but I'll give it a try. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I loved this game. The dialogue between the main [spoiler]( and almost only )[/spoiler] characters felt so dynamic and realistic I got to pause a couple of times just to admire how well written both of them are, they're incredibly flesh-out and is honestly super impressive how the managed to enrapture me so. Thank you so much for making this :)

I went into this game shooting for the best possible ending... The chemistry of the leads is infectious and they make for plenty of charming interactions, with meaningful and earned relationship development. But there's a certain inevitable tragedy looming over the narrative that makes for a genuinely difficult series of moral questions near the end. Plus, there's a ton of unexpected depth to the world if you're willing to explore different choices, see things develop differently, put the pieces together. Which paints a very intriguing picture, I very much recommend giving this a shot!

Heartstop is a very moving and very challenging game. If you enjoy narrative titles that have difficult decisions and very deeply conceived characters, then Heartstop is a game you will love.
