Heart's Medicine - Time to Heal

Interesting game with a nice storyline. But I think I am growing out of these types of game with my age. Still had fun while playing it a few years back.

Has a nice story and was fun to play.

(WARNING: A little long!) Okay, I LOVED this game! But throughout playing it, there were a lot of glitches. The game kept freezing, and the character i played would just stop moving but the game around her continued. I was able to click on patients and items but she would NOT move at all. Also, when the shift would end and i would FINALLY get my 3 stars, found Oliver AND got through the challenge for the level and the game would just stop, like, my character would be able to move around pick up items and everything but i would have to re-do the whole chapter again because of the glitch. But its worth it! Gives a good challenge, not too easy and not too hard!

The hospital-treatment game mechanics are intriguing, but the plot is dreadful—clumsily dumbing down the characters just to cater to prime-time drama tropes. Constantly using life-or-death situations to downplay the characters' mistakes is simply unacceptable. Terrible.

É um bom passa tempo. Embora seja um jogo tranquilo, ainda é dinâmico e levemente desafiador. Tem uma boa variedade de minijogos e desafios. Tem alguns momentos de frustração pois o jogo claramente seria melhor com a touch screen ao invés do mouse. O jogo chega a sugerir isso, mas não tenho como fazer isso.

Ребята, если вот хочется 12 часов покайфовать в игре жанра "принеси-подай-иди нафиг не мешай" - то это ОНО! Можно сказать, что посмотрела мини-сериал про интернатуру. Было ВСЁ - и драма, и неожиданные повороты, и хорошее, и плохое, и я очень рада, что купила эту игру! Смачно отполировала все уровни, искренне порадовалась в конце за Эллисон и загорелась мотивацией поддерживать разработчиков, покупая их игры именно в стиме :) Знаю, что эта и многие другие игры от них доступны бесплатно на мобилке, но я просто люблю ачивки и только ЗА в том, чтобы поддерживать такие добрые милые проекты! Спасибо! насладилась от души и вам советую, не пожалеете!

A fun game, with positives that outweigh the drawbacks. It's not high art, but it is a well-constructed time management game with a story that is deliciously schmaltzy. The gameplay is pretty straightforward, and it's really easy to three-star every level, but doing well on a level stays satisfying. It's not for everyone, because the gameplay loop stays exactly the same (with each level set only changing in visual theming), but the gameplay is solid enough that it really didn't bother me. On a meta level, you can see pretty clearly that this was originally a mobile game that featured microtransactions. Having those removed greatly improves the experience, which probably goes without saying. It's interesting playing the game, because you can see the holes where microtransactions would have been and just feel grateful that you dodged that bullet. The story is the best kind of cheese. Medical drama with more of a focus on Big Feelings than scientific verisimilitude, which I really enjoyed. I got way more invested in the Little Creek crew than I expected! It was fun, I don't know what else really to say about it. I didn't care that some of the plot beats were obvious, because I was fully enjoying myself. It was written with a lot of heart (if you'll permit the pun) and is definitely worth a look.
