An upgrade in many ways to the first Haydee with one glaring exception. The game now allows for unlimited saves on softcore, and relegates the limited save system to the hardcore difficulty. Ammo can be crafted for everything except your pistol. Keycards don't evaporate after use. There's now a fourth weapon type. Weapons can be upgraded. There's a story if you care to piece it together. There are collectibles for those willing to do 2 runs through since I believe some are softcore only and some are hardcore only. There are maps in game... they're just not interactive or collectible (though there is a website for that). The regions of the game are interconnected and not just 4 branching pathways across a bridge. But what's missing is the jump and all that brings with it (a feature I'm glad to hear made its return in the sequel). If I had one complaint beyond the missing jump/vertical level design, it would be the single use items that clog inventory space unless you are already familiar enough with the game to know that they are useless. All told, if you liked the first Haydee, this one shouldn't disappoint. What's missing in platforming is more than made up for in other areas.

"Haydee 2" как первая часть, только в ней больше декораций, используемых инструментов и даже оружия, но всё не так хорошо, как хотелось бы. Для меня главным минусом стало полное отсутствие элементов паркура, теперь наш персонаж даже подпрыгнуть не может, не говоря уж о том, чтобы куда-нибудь залезть. Раз вырезали такую важную часть геймплея, то, наверное, хорошо проработали другую — стрельбу? Не-а, противников всего два вида, как в первой части: быстрый, но хрупкий и медленный, но прочный; добавили новое оружие и возможность его прокачивать, но вся прокачка заключается лишь в увеличении характеристик оружия и никак особо не влияет на геймплей. Короче говоря, сражения с противниками примерно также ощущаются, как и в первой части. Несмотря на это, игра мне понравилась благодаря всё той же запутанности и сложности, которые были в первой части, а также новым плюшкам, таким как коллекционные предметы, какой-то сюжет и расширенная возможность кастомизации внешнего вида управляемого нами персонажа, которая также присутствует и в модах. Оценка: приемлемо, если понравилась первая часть.
