"Haxity" is an abandoned Early Access "Cyberpunk is so hot right now let's make one of those" CCG/deckbuilder that failed to garner any interest from gamers (it wasn't very good), so the developers decided to take all the money that backers gave them to finish the game and head for the hills... yep, no refunds were given, thanks a lot, suckers. The developers abandoned this 3 years and 6 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $13 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also obviously a slap in the face to anyone who paid the developers thinking they would meet their promise to complete the game. Unethical devs continue to abuse Valve's well intentioned, but disastrous Early Access programme. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Only played a few games but already feel compelled to give this a thumbs up as its really fun versing friends - Nice visuals and animations - Quick simple game play - The only deck builder that is PvP with these mechanics (that I can find anyway) - Strategy in picking your cards and powers and when to play them - Devs made free and allowed players to still play each other (friends wise) after development wrapped up and servers closed Shame this game didn't get more known as its unique and haven't found any other game that scratched this itch for quick PvP deck building

The randomness Scissor Paper Rock tactic sucks the fun out of this, as it usually never gives you a good hand to strike with. It looks visually nice, I like the animation, but the combat mechanics annoy very quickly.
It's actually a fun little game, unfortunately I wish there was some development over time (Such as achievements, maybe a decorative room, or perhaps a season to build into/grow your deck and character). Unfortunately the game was pretty empty when I tried this morning (of players, I only got AI/Bot games). Will try again during more of a common time.
3 words... fun, hard, enjoyable
https://youtu.be/QlETIxt3_Ug When I reviewed Dragon Clash a few years ago, I awakened a deep and untapped fondness for turn based card games. Games of skill, games with awesome art design, flashy graphics, gameplay that seems daunting and complicated at first, but once it gets its hooks into you and you begin to develop strategies to win, you cannot help but go another round to get that sweet sweet feeling of DECIMATING your foe. Haxity is another turn based card game from developer Megapop, that is available right now Free to Play on Steam, that attempts to tap into the Cyberpunk genre and goes big in terms of presentation and theatricality. But the question is, is Haxity another game that seeks to drain countless hours of my life in the pursuit of the perfectly executed hand, or is the game the kind of bust that cleans you out. Lets take a look as we review 2020's Haxity.
Great game with greater potential
