It's a great game that keeps you on the edge without relying too much on jump scares and while I do have some complaints about the flashlight being too weak to see where you go, it's also good enough to prevent you from seeing too much of what's in front of you!! will be fun to see what it will be of the finished product!

This is more an impartial/neutral review than anything. I'm like 90% sure that this is just NOT FINISHED; which would be fine, if it wasn't portrayed as a final product, but hey, it's free, so you get what you got. There's a very clear ending segment to the game that gets flashed for about two seconds, then the credits roll before you can even attempt the entirely new level it gives you to play. Possibly just a bug, but that's one of a couple things that made me wonder how complete this was. Puzzles are straightforward in hindsight, though how clear they are is sure to vary from person to person. Also, personal opinion, keep parkour out of horror games- but it blatantly says it has platforming, so I expected it and don't think it harms the game itself. To be frank, outside of a general theme, this was hardly horror. The only thing that really got me was one cheapish jump near the end, and during the parkour segment where it makes you THINK you're racing the monster [you aren't.] On top of that, the "rich themes" it claims in the description are...Not quite there. Maybe I could have [again, as they claim:] "solved" it further had the ending(?) segment played, but it didn't, soo.. Mechanically it's fine. It has gameplay and puzzles that will give you 20-50 minutes of "oooo neat", and not much else. It's also free, so it's hard to explicitly judge.
I just know the voice actor eats tomatoes often by just hearing the voice
Pos: It's a good game. Con: Can't set mouse sens even lower.
it's free, exactly what i expect from a student. this is not a puzzle game, your ending needs some work. why start off narrating a note to only not finish? it's free and complete.
"Haunting Memories" is, yep, yet another of hundreds, if not thousands of Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure games infesting Steam. There's a little bit of bespoke code and artwork in this one but not nearly enough to differentiate it from all the other ones. Wander around a bunch of spooky Unity assets. Solve some puzzles (maybe, if they work)... it's been done hundreds of times already, many better than this. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
I think the game is quite good. I would recommend others to give it a try. Pros:

Short puzzles.
Some puzzles were hard to solve.
Good graphics and design of the map.
Cons:

Lacking support for wide screen, I couldn't see the whole UI.
